Leveling up Wizard, Selecting Illusion, not getting additional cantrip in charactermancer?

I have a PC thats a Teifling Wizard. I have the PHB shared. He knows minor illusion at level 1. When leveling up to 2, and selecting School of Illusion, because he knows the spell already, it sounds like he should get to choose another cantrip, correct?. However, the option is never presented. We know we can manually add it in, just wanting to make sure we arent missing something to get it to pop into the charactermancer? Thanks again!

Just drag & drop it manually I would say - there's no difference between that and having it added by the charactermancer.

Does it make a note in your features & traits section, out of interest? Because it does make the spell more powerful (you can cast both visual and aural elements at once), but I would probably edit the spellcard personally. I'd rename it Improved Illusion, or Minor Illusion*, and edit the description field to reflect the improved functionality of the spell for that character, just as a reminder when it's cast.
