[Weekly Downtime Thread][Summer I 1526 HC][Sessions 215-223]

Please post any of your downtime activities below. You can find the full rules for downtime  here . You can find last week's downtime thread  here.  An index of all past downtime threads can be found  here. This thread is for the week:  3 June to 7 June, covering sessions 215-223 Always remember to be specific about what downtime action you are taking! If you're leveling up type that in your post labeled as OOC! If you're looking into an item be specific about where that item is from, what mission, when you got it, who from, etc. If you write "I read that book I found" the DM is likely to have no clue what you are talking about. If you are learning a language, or tool make sure to write down how many weeks you have been practicing! This lowers the DC, and gives advantage depending on the number of weeks. Also a reminder that players only get one main downtime action per week.

Alvah Laurent Continues learning Vos from Salazar. Even if the lack of script makes it difficult, she'll pull through, to be able to use her silver tongue properly. Eirena Lightshadow Eirena will chime in at the Cohort and spend some quality time with her family after her most recent mission in the margreve. She inquires if Savas would like to come along to this ball that she was invited to. You need to get closer to the enemy to learn more about the after all, right? She will return to her home in Dhoesone once again, to continue her training as Paladin as well. She misses Savas, Áine and Nasaadi dearly during the time, as she had grown used to being around them Even if the bombs that Áine drops regularly aren't to be trifled with. ( Eirena is retraining as Paladin. Week 2 ) Sithric Sidhefriend Performs research on the topic of the shadowmancer. He wants to find out specifically why he might have aligned himself with the Vampire and what his weaknesses are. Takumir Jachral Twiddle his thumbs. Maybe learn Rjuven from somone. Savas Al-Hadar Upset that he was caught so off-guard by Nasaadi's questions and statements, Savas spends some time in the Cohort library researching some of Nasaadi's claims.  He will focus in the arcane section of the library trying to find more detailed information on how humanoid structures affect Cerilia's magic in general, and dragons more specifically. He will also pen a letter to Larmendylth, the Silver Dragon in Urkenhame: "Great Larmendylth, My name is Savas Al-Hadar.  My wife, Eirena, and I are currently raising a young dragonling by the name of Nasaadi.  We rescued her from the White Witch and have been raising her as our own ever since.  During this time she has been wearing an amulet which has forced her to retain her human form.  We are starting to be concerned about the long term effects this may have on her, and have started talking with her about the possibility of removing the necklace.  One issue she raised is that she claims she must consume humanoids in order to properly grow as a dragon. Being as you live peacefully among the people of Urkenhame, I was hoping that you could help answer our questions and guide us.  Is this true?  Are there other things she may consume to allow her to properly grow that would not put innocent lives at risk?  Cattle, pigs, perhaps some magical substance? We are beside ourselves with worry and concern for our daughter.  Any information you can provide to guide us would be greatly appreciated. Nils Ullstein Location:  City of Ariya (Comfortable Lifestyle - 8gp) Major Action:  Nils seeks a private audience with the Oracle of Ariya. He tries to learn more about the powers of the Sword contained in the crystal within the Temple of Elil without revealing it location. If able he seeks clarification on what "Blood" would be required to free the sword.  Shou Location: Incot Village (Modest Lifestyle - 1.6gp) Major Action:  Shou humbly seeks the aid of Teelian Stormwalker in furthering his Druid training. (OOC Leveling up to Druid 6 hopefully).  Minor Action:  Shou discusses with Teelian whether the Thorn King has been harassing Incot Village as well and if she would lend her aid to a battle against him should the opportunity present itself. 

Korak (Spending Renown with Elisheva to learn how she got past the ants to gain the treasures of that tomb in order to assist with the ones in Mur-Kilad Caves. If she has an item that would help with this he would see if he could have or borrow it and makes sure to mention the hive mind that eats brains and if there is any information on such a creature. 10 Renown Red Sands )

Olorin Major: Level up to 2 Minor: Olorin spends 10gp that he earned from helping to catch the thief in the Caravanserai to purchase the materials needed to perform Find Familiar. After completing the ritual Olorin is now accompanied by a horned owl with dark brown feathers and piercing yellow eyes. 

Galena Abanathu Location: Mispera Galena hires some musicians and works on composing a piece of music.

Eirena Lightshadow Retraining week 2 Sithric Sidhefriend Sithric tries to find out more about The Shadowmancer, but can't find any information in the books. Takumir Jachral Will need more time to learn the language. Robert Bossouri Will still need more time to learn Draconic. Savas Al-Hadar Savas gets no response from Larmedlyth, and doesn't find any information on what he's looking for. There don't seem to any traces of it. At one point The Kallanon himself suggest to Savas that there are some things best not looked into. Mizra Kadir el-Djafara Multi-classing week 1. Nerolia N/A Nils Ullstein Nils is able to get an audience with The Oracle, but she tells him it's clouded in powerful ancient magic. She says she'd have to go there and see it herself, and even then she's not completely sure she'd be able to do it. Shou Teelian Stormwalker continues to seclude herself from The Cohort, but Shou's able to meditate in the woods to finish his training. (level up). Korak Korak will learn from her that she coated herself in the pee of one of the ants, and made herself invisible to sneak past them. It seems to work, though a few ants took notice of her presence they didn't do anything. Darvius See last week's post. Success. Olorin Level up. Galena Galena hires some muscians and starts working on a piece of music of her desire. Cedrych She tells Cedrych that the bugs are difficult to work with, but she managed to construct something out of them. This Cloak of Magic Dispersal requires attunement. Once per long rest the coat can be used to cast Dispel Magic on its owner (+5 bonus). This ability can be activated at any time (no action required) as long as the user is conscious to activate it. If the cloak successfully dispels at least one spell or magical effect the user gains a +2 bonus to their AC for the next hour. Total cost came to 2,000gp. Kazimir N/A Salazar N/A

Lyla Major: Level up to Sorcerer 4 Medi Major: Continuing to reclass [Week 2] Cordie Cordie will spend some time around Zobeck trying to help people out in exchange for promises of help with getting some more progress on her tower. She doesn't expect much, but any little bit will help for now. Major: Working for tower progress. No gold or Zobeck renown to spend.

Raven discovers the creature is immune to both cold and necrotic elements of magic. It also grows more powerful the more damage it deals to its opponents in an almost unnatural way. Falling unconscious near this thing will certainly grow its powers.  Hen Major : Returns to the underside of Daugren, to the  Sanctuary, asking about the difference between Blood and ruby Oozes. and how oozes are classified. Hen learns that oozes are almost always monsters that have little to no intelligence. Failed magical experiments, or primordial goop mixed with magic. Whatever the case the difference between blood and ruby ones isn't something she's able to discover. Hadrian Darkleaf Major:  Having been pacified with the Serpent of the Lake, Hadrian  searches for more info regarding their prophecies Hardian discovers that their prophecies have long been predicted, and a great many people do not wish for them to come true. It's likely they have as many enemies as fans. This probably means they should be somewhat careful when discussing their destinies. Rendi Theocus Major: searches for a teacher for the Nature skill. Rendi can find a teacher, a Sidhelien by the name of Monat. She's a strong elf with a good ear for nature. Chikat Stonehaven Major: level up to 5 Done Nerolia Major: pieces together more songs on the mighty cohort.  Nerolia does so.
