So I have switched over to ISO metric style using the Epic Iso pack on the market, and my players are loving it. They even made their own character on hero forge, colored it and sent it to me as PNG file. When I move player icons around I can choose "to front" or "to back" and this helps to keep things looking the way they should. With the bottom most icon on top and the upper most in the back. However, I can't seem to figure out how to make monster tokens do that. When I click "to front" it won't let me move it in front of a player icon. I can however move other monster icons around so that I can choose which is in front and which is in back, but it seems to me that there is something in Roll20 that says "players icons always on top". I tried editing the monsters to be "controlled by all players", but that didn't seem to fix it. Anyone have any idea how to let non player icons be on top?
