Dice display is different than dice in text chat.

If you look at the images of dice, it is a 10, but if you look at the roll in the text chat it shows a 9.&nbsp; They should be the same!&nbsp; There was one GM and three players looking at this, and two of us saw dice with 9 on it, and two of us say dice with 10.&nbsp; All of us saw 9 in text-chat.&nbsp; Game was here: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/6490965/gurps-combat-test" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/6490965/gurps-combat-test</a>

Well it is a quantum roll server. Looks like the probability wavefront failed to collapse properly and you got different outcomes of the superposition. Are you sure you're in the same universe as the other players? Seriously though, I have never seen this. Some funny corner angles on a d20 yes, but not on a d6. I think the animation on that 3 must have stopped before it rolled over to 1? Not 100% sure, but I think the animation times out and freezes as a safeguard against any infinite roll malfunctions crashing performance.
This sometimes happens with 3D dice. It is a known issue. The system uses the chat results and most players agree to that as well.

The 3D dice are a toy more than anything. Trust the chat.
It happened twice in one game, but we are using the chat as the true roll!

As I understand it, the most likely way they work is that the numbers are generated by the Quantum roller, and the final results are sent to the 3D dice engine, which runs a physics simulation backwards to a starting state, and then "throws" them. The physics engine is likely plagued by a small degree of... randomness.&nbsp;
