Its a trap

I started using this script a couple weeks ago and it was working fine. I would go through the setup and set all the options and tested it with player tokens. In the last couple days the trap triggers when i activate it. I have the trap token on the gm layer and have it selected when pressing the trapmaker macro. This is the info in the gm notes for one of the trap tokens {"effectShape":"self","stopAt":"center","damage":"1d8","save":"dex","saveDC":13,"hideSave":false,"spotDC":15,"fx":{"name":"Bomb-Smoke"},"revealWhenSpotted":false,"revealLayer":"map"}

I don't think I understand what you're saying. The trap activates when you move a player token through it? That's supposed to happen.

The button does exactly what it says. So, when you press it you Activate the trap without the need of tokens to pass over it. This feature is there so you can force the trap to go off, even if no token is on top of it. So, when you have made your trap, it will automatically become “active” when you place it on the GM layer. There is no need to press any buttons thereafter.
Oh I thought that the activate button at the bottom needed to be pressed to set all the options and arm the trap. It is just there to test the trap. That would explain my problem. Thanks for the clarification and the great script
I accidently deleted the trap maker macro and had to reinstall its a trap.  Now I can't find the macro after I reinstalled the API script.  Help

Just make a new trap macro manually with the following: !ItsATrap_trapCreationWizard_showMenu
