CURSE OF STRAHD Under raging storm clouds, a lone figure stands silhouetted against
the ancient walls of Castle Ravenloft. The vampire Count Strahd von
Zarovich stares down a sheer cliff at the village below. A cold, bitter
wind spins dead leaves about him, billowing his cape in the darkness. Lightning
splits the clouds overhead, casting stark white light across him.
Strahd turns to the sky, revealing the angular muscles of his face and
hands. He has a look of power—and of madness. His once handsome face is
contorted by a tragedy darker than the night itself. Rumbling
thunder pounds the castle spires. The wind's howling increases as Strahd
turns his gaze back to the village. Far below, yet not beyond his ken, a
party of adventurers has just entered his domain. Strahd's face forms a
twisted smile as his dark plan unfolds. He knew they were coming, and
he knows why they have come—all according to his plan. He, the master of
Ravenloft, will attend to them. Another lightning flash rips
through the darkness, its thunder echoing through the castle's towers.
But Strahd is gone. Only the howling of the wind—or perhaps a lone
wolf—fills the midnight air. The master of Ravenloft is having guests
for dinner. And you are invited. This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of
$10 per player, per session via PayPal. Payment to be made before session. These sessions
will be run WEEKLY. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment

and cannot enforce any private arrangements. First TWO sessions are free. Session 0: Character Creation Session 1: Your Journey Begins MY ROLE: I will run 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons, the Curse of Strahd module. So
if you are into horror, vampires, werewolves and suspense then come on
down. I will make this adventure fun but fair. I am lenient with the rule book, so while I will make sure that the rules are followed there will be times when players want to do something cool or badass. You bet I'm going to let you try to do it. I will let you know if your character may be in danger but ultimately that decision is up to you. You could pull it off and it'll be awesome. You may not, and it will a funny story to tell later. My ultimate goal is to make sure you have fun. Whether that is by kicking ass, being scared out of your pants or connecting with the people and events in the world. I am always open to feedback and want to work with my players to develop a story together. I welcome feedback every session so that I can continue to grow and improve your experience. ASSISTANCE: I love when players are invested and interested in their characters, so I will be eager to help my players with character related problems. Whether we are in a session or not: If you need help with your character during play, I'd be happy to assist and work through it with you. If you want to discuss hooking in your character's backstory to the events of the world, we can discuss it anytime. BONUS: I really love D&D, and I know how troublesome it is to keep your notes all in one place so I've gone ahead and added a resource for my players to use during our games. If you join a group, you will have access to an online OneNote notebook
that all players in that group can write information into and collate
notes. That way you don't have to fiddle around with physical notebooks.
