Good Society - Jane Austen RPG

Hello!  I would really like to play Good Society and was wondering if there is anyone who has GM'd for it before that would be interested in running a game?  Are you interested in Austen and want to join as a player?  Thanks!

Very interested in this if you're still looking for players. A little rusty but was always into more story-based games and was an English major so went through a burning Austen phase.

I'm not interested if this is pay to play. Games should always be free.

@thingjob Are you going to help the DM with the amount of work going into the game? The planning, prep, map design, world building and so on? Some DMs put as much work in as most people in a 9-5 job, so why shouldn't they get paid for it? Also, I dare you to go to any major games company or store and tell them that. Handbooks, minis, dice... these things cost money. If you don't want people to make a living doing what they enjoy, that's fine. But keep it to yourself and have a bit of respect.

My wife and I would like to play. How do we start?

AJC Games should be free to play. It's a GMs choice to be the GM. Their not forced to go out and purchase games or spend hours learning the rules. Writing the adventure. But they do it as I have for love of the game. No one forces them to do so or makes them. To add real life currency to it cheapens the experience and makes it less fun for all. Be respectful of the game and the players. If you want to make money on the hobby go make your own gaming company and sell them.

Hello Everyone, Looks like there are a bunch of people interested in playing. As I mentioned above, I'm planning on GMing with a start date/Session Zero on Friday, August 28th. I am in the Pacific time zone, so usually start around 6:30PM Pacific time. The game will occur on alternate Fridays and be a mini-campaign of 4-6 sessions, though my experience with this format is that it usually goes at least 6 sessions.
