I’m
running “The Emperor Protects” campaign by FFG for the Deathwatch rpg.
This game is a conversion to the 2d20 system and is still in an beta
state. So if you are not interested in helping test out a new system
then this game is not for you. This campaign will be run every other Thursday at 9pm EST. Each game will last 4 to 5 hours. Next session is on the 18th Character Creation is involved and I will have to help you through it. Characters
must be finished before game day. I am available at most days after 9pm EST. What is 40k? Warhammer
40,000 is set in the distant future, where a stagnant human
civilization is beset by hostile aliens and malevolent supernatural
creatures. The models in the game are a mixture of humans, aliens, and
supernatural monsters, wielding futuristic weaponry and magical powers. What is Deathwatch? The Deathwatch is
a unified force made up of Space Marines from many Chapters who work
together at the behest of the Inquisition. When they find proof that a
world has become tainted by Alien influences, or signs of significant
Chaos, it's the Deathwatch that is called to purge these foes. I’ve
run every 40k rpg from FFG and every campaign went for over a year in
real life. I love the games but one thing I never enjoyed was the dice
mechanics (for reasons I’ll be happy to discuss at another time). I have
put a considerable amount of time converting the game to the 2D20
system (star trek, mutant chronicles, Conan) created by Modiphius games. I currently have 2 campaigns going and we've been having a lot of fun with both. About the GM 25 Years of experience running games (I've gotten fairly good) I tend towards low-combat heavy-roleplay games (But this is 40k after all) I love new players so don't worry if you're not sure what you're doing I tend to run games with a more serious tone. I've noticed this often appeals to older players. If you can name a game system, there's a pretty good chance I've run it Discord for voice is a must If you love 40K or always wanted to learn more about it please check out the GAME LINK to post on the game’s listing.
