Mithril Heart, No solution 15 The Mithril Cave THE STORY:  MITHRIL TITAN In the Town of Galvin Several Young Adventurers Living in and around the surrouding area were appointed to Be the bodyguards/peacekeepers in the small human Town Of Galvin In the Human Realm of Tylondale. PART 1:  Find the Girl: Athrogate Anvilcrack, the Dwarven Ranger Held his Swords tightly. One of the hired men of the King of Northkeep, was sent foreward. "You there dwarf!, A note from the king."  The Dwarf Slides his blades away. "Lets see here."  As Athrogate Grabs the Note and reads slowly. "Hmm, It seems we have a bit of a problem. The King has a bounty on a young girl, We must find her." After a few moments of speaking, Athrogate gathers his party of bounty hunters. PLAYERS: _________________________________________________________________________________ After a search near the town sewer, it seems a few hill giants have taken the girl. This was an easy task of slaying for Athrogate and his men. They returned the girl safely. The Real story began The next morning as the party Awakens after a long days bounty. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART 2:  Awakening To An Endless Dark: You are awakened from your sleep by the ground shaking - you appear to be caught in a slight earthquake. It is soon over however, and after exchanging excited chatter and all manner of theories with the other members of your party, you go back to sleep. Before long you slowly wake up once more, and carefully open one eye so as to get your bearings. It is still night. You curl up under your traveler’s blanket, determined not to be robbed of any sleep. But you can't sleep. You're wide awake now, and you notice that the others in your party are waking as well. Something just doesn't feel quite right...  UPON GOING OUTSIDE YOU NOTICE EVEN THOUGH IT IS MORNING IT IS STILL DARK! The party getting weary of the darkness, must speak to the elder. Elder Farham of Galvin, tells you your next quest. The party must travel Through The Kharollas caves To the town of Pax Tharkas. Delivering a package to Gafaras Shadowrain The elder. He will inform you on what is happening with the endless darkness.   After battling through the Kharollas caves. You come to the larger more beautiful city of Pax Tharkas. The elder Gafaras tells you upon opening the package that there is a known artifact called the mithril heart. but only an ancient dark knight knows the location. This dark knights Alignment is unknown. (complete) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART 3:  Baxters Proposal: Gafaras Informs you: Baxter the knight Is the only one who knows about the secrets of the mithril heart, but he is in the form of a fairy that I keep. He barely speaks at all, but im sure he will once you free him from this curse. The fairy Baxter is High level Knight. In order for the party to turn him back into a Dark knight the party must travel to go to the tomb of the iron knight. Where Reizer Losod Encased the Armor set. The only way to lift this curse is to find his body parts in the armor. (head , arms , legs, torso,)  For his soul was transfused into a fairy by the Evil Dark Mage Reizer. High atop his tower, in the lands of norther Tylondale, the deadlands. Long ago, The mage Reizer Losod took Baxters body and transfused his soul into the embodiment of a fairy. casting him out to die. Baxter the knight has forgotten most everything during of his days of being a dark knight, his days of vengance and slaying, and wishes to now use his power for good, or so he tells the party. all he knows is that he must return to his former self to reveal the lost knowledge of the Mithril Heart. The mage Reizer Losod has been unseen since. The party must find Baxters lost body in the hidden armor of the Temple of the Iron Knight, and Transfuse the Fairy Back into the Dark knight., this is the quest.  (complete) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART 4:  Baxters memory: Upon the start of your travels Valaska, Edoran , Firefly bearclaw , Lanolyn , Thane and Hombus  Set out for the temple of the iron knight. Upon going east towards the temple for many miles, You come upon a land forsaken by the dead. You feel weary and must camp in The lands of Arkum sul. You are then waylaid in the night by what seems to be a skeleton in dark armor. Unfortunately one did not survive the battle. For he refused to wake the party on his night of watch. A fatal Blow to the skull reduced Edoran the elf to a Pink mist. The party woke up to slay the Skeleton. Dreadfully the party had to return the remains of the body to Galvin. So the party then split into 2 groups. Lanolyn, Thane, Firefly bearclaw, and What was left of Edoran Set back for galvin to return the remains to family. and Hombus , Valaska , and Maglore Elistan The brother of Edoran Elistan ......who had met up with them on their travels Were on their way to the Temple to Free the body of the Iron Knight, and wait for the Fairy to return to be transmuted. Maglore like his brother Edoran loved adventures, and wished to follow in his brother Edorans footsteps with the party, in Saving the world from forever being Covered in darkness.(complete) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 5: The Temple of the Iron Knight:   The party arrives at The temple of the Iron knight, followed by The fairy baxter. As you enter the tomb, There is a large Rectangular room. Dark and moist filled with cobwebs, With a giant stone slab in the back but center of the room. More like a stone table with imprinted slots for amor peices. (Ring, chest, shield, Legs, Arms, Helmet, Shield) They must be the peices Gafaras and Baxter have informed you of. The party then begins searching the room. On the left they find a Brick that is loose. Upon moving the brick a door slides open. The bottom western side of the room is now open. The party walks through the Hallway, Hombus, Valaska, Athrogate and Zarc. Venturing fourth through the moist stone hallway. They come to a room that drops down about a foot, well lit with magical white glowing runed tiles. There is a skeleton/corpse with a red ring on the finger. in the top right corner of the room. In the center of the room there is an 8 foot tall pillar that is about 4 feet in circumfrance with a Solid Chest Held tightly by two Chains extending from the walls on the north and south side. Upon Hombus the theif testing the tiles by throwing a dagger onto them. They notice As the dagger skips across the tiles each one casts a different but deadly spell. Magic missles, lightning bolts and fireballs, followed by acid arrows fly fourth from the tiles. Soon after they see a ghostly figure near the corpse. It then disappears. The party notices it is the spirit of the slain corpse on the floor. The spirit shows its own death upon re-enacting in spirit form the death from long ago. The party realizes the spirit wishes to be put to rest. Upon looting the ring and burying the corpse. The thankful spirit shows the correct path on the tiles, Allowing a safe passage for Athrogate the Dwarven Ranger and his party in order to loot the chest upon the pillar. The Red Ring:  Ring of 10 seconds of 100% fire resistance. 1 use per hour. Upon looting the chest, the party finds a glowing blue gem, and a Dark black cloak. Returning to the previous room. the party inserts the ring into the table slot. A door opens next to the previous door to the West. As you walk into the room there are two Stone Statues. Upon a platform. The party is unable to do anything here but pull one of the statues arms down, causing the third door to open. Inside was a room of magical Darkness. Upon entering Valaska Realizes that the door seems hundreds of miles away. As a feeling of overwhelming sorrow flows over her body. Running back to the door in fear for what seemed to be days. The party was only waiting for a few seconds. Upon checking for magical properties above the door it read in an anceient language: "Face your fears."  Valask Ran into the dark room, running as far as she could go, until the light of the door faded. Facing all fear of being lost. The room lit up. To reveal the light of the room removed the magical darkness. Valaska had faced the darkness and revealed the light. The party entered the room to see Valaska in the middle of the room. Hands stretching as undead chained along the walls reached for your body. A very narrow path up to an altar where lay a Shield and Gloves. They are the parts needed for the Iron Knight Baxter. The party gathers them and Inserts them into the table. A small opening in the table reveals an Iron hammer. The party uses the hammer to Crack the two stone statues in the 2nd room to the west. The party receives a Silver swords Blade, and the second statue opens a door to the east. Revealing a long hallway. A test of the hallway Shows flame traps springing from the walls upon entering. Hombus Takes the Red ring. Grasping it tightly. He gains fire resistance Running down the hall feeling the flames pain, though untouched by them. He sees a helmet sitting on a mantle. This must be the dark knights helmet. He returns safely putting the helmet into the table with the rest of the peices. Another two doors open to the East. Upon entering the first room to the east you smell rotting flesh. As you embark on a giant pile of undead, Crawling about. But as you get closer. You see that it is not a pile at all, but dual portals in the ceiling and the floor. Bodies continue to fall through the floor and come out of the ceiling. Forever falling. As Valaska casts detect magic, It is but an illusion. As you see the Legplates of the iron knight floating in the middle of the room. They then easily looted. The next room is a mere pile of bones, Upon disturbing the bones a clicking sound is heard. and a howling from outside the temple front door. Athrogate is weary. He knows tales of the Werewolves and how deaded they are in the woods of Quelos Nira. The bones in the room start forming into skeletons but are soon smashed to bits. Zarc holding his Silver Blade Tightly, Bound by a leather strap due to having no hilt, creeps towards the front door. The werewolf growling from around the Stone walls. Breathing hard Zarc feel the wolf ready to pounce. Magic missles fly, claws rip, blades are slammed. And the werewolf is slain by the silverblade. Returning to the bone-filled room. The party finds the rest of the iron Knight. All the parts are complete. and the party inserts the peices into the stone table. the table opens. Upon Putting the fairy in the small opening in the table. You hear a Clicking. The room starts to shake. A door Opens from the floor, and Up rises from the door a stone tomb. You hear a magical voice utter words to you in an ancient language: "You wish to know the secrets of Reizer Losod! You try to ressurect the Iron Knight?! You must pass the final test to see if you are worthy of knowing these secrets! Upon taking the shield to Dunran, He Reads the ancient inscriptions hidden within the shield. He informs you that Inside this said found tomb was encased the real shield of Iron Knight Baxter, along with the still hidden Bones of your slain knight. You must travel to the unseen and ancient evil mage reizer losod's 3 towers and retreive the 3 magic cubes to open this tomb.  (complete) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART 6:  The 3 Magic Cubes, and Zarcs run: Upon Returning the fairy to its rightful place, It reaveals that the full armor set is there, but the bones will be needed. Inside the tomb which laid the Shield of Baxter. The Tomb also holds 3 cube-like Slots, For 3 magic cubes. You must travel east for 7 days to the Towers of Reizer Losod and Slay the 3 mages that protect the Iron Knights bones.  (complete) The first tower was easily looted and slain, Zarc and the party slashing and slaying low level mages. The second tower on the other hand. The party was trapped upon entering. While trapped inside the 2nd tower surrounded by armies undead from the lands of Arkum Sul' , The party allows a friend to join the battle, The barbarian Thane. Strong and sturdy but not greedy. Zarc the warror finds a cloak behind a bookshelf in the tower that enchants him with incredible speed and magical properties forcing him to want to cast spells. He uses the haste of the cloak and Runs for 7 days back to the tomb of the iron knight. Using the 3 cubes he Transmutes the fairy and tells Baxter of what has been happening. Baxter summons a black dragon from his shield, They ride into the darkness towards the 3 towers.  Baxters dragon reigns death upon the undead and he dismounts battling inside the tower all the way to the top. Spells rain, Baxters weapons clash in an almost anceint battle born again. The darkness of the land wilting away the earth. Atop the tower baxter slays Reizer Losod the mage with a single upward slash cutting him in two. The peices fall all the way down to the ground where the party sees the two parts of the corpse. Thane, the barbarian friend of the party has come along to help slay reizer was uneeded but Finds An axe inside a chest in the tower enchanted with half the soul of a Jinn, This item is bound to him. Valaska Finds a Book entitled "Reizers Spellbook" and a book entitled "Runes", Reizers spellbook is Cursed with a spell That disabled anyone from opening the book except for the hands of Reizer Losod. Valaska Then Makes Gloves from Reizers hands opening the book, But it turns out it a trap. When opening the book, Thanes axe begins to glow. Half of the the Jinn that was hidden within the pages escapes flying to the other half of its soul that is inside of Thane's Axe.  Thus Turning him into a Jinn, and Eraseing All spells in Reizers spellbook. Thane can control the Jinn for now, But may not last long. Gaining incredible strength, The barbarian must constantly struggle with the demon inside of him. Keeping him in constant bloodrage he gains emense power. Valaska wonders "but what of the book of Runes?" After the battle and looting all treasure from the tower. Baxter Flies down upon his screaming black dragon, from the top of the tower. Eyes red and mad with power. His dark armor shining from horned helmet to spiked leggings. The dark knight speaks: "My dragon is hungry, Let it be known! Free'ers of Darkness.... Learn friend from foe! Do you have the Blue crystal?" He takes the crystal and shatters it on the ground. A flash of light as you see the dragon flying away. 8 Clerics Appear to the party. You are teleported to Pax Tharkas Inside of a large room in a local familiar inn. They begin to tell you all a story. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cleric Knowledge: The sun problem The Problem: The current society has existed for thousands of years, but the world is much older than that. The basic question the whole world now asks itself is "What makes the Sun rise, and why has it stopped?" To find the answers, you must delve into knowledge of the ancient past, to a time before the society and, before the ancient gods, back to the beginning of the world... and back to the magic that makes the sun arise The Sun: Deep beneath the surface, beneath the darkened crust, lies an enormous cavern at the center of Dalruan. In this cavern, the Mythril Titan has been cranking the Wheel of the Sun since the Beginning of Time, and it is this wheel that causes the sun to rotate around the world. That is until recently. An ancient red dragon, the Eldest of All Dragons, has made its way to the center of the earth, destroyed the Mythril Titan in a battle that caused the very earth to shake, and made the cavern its lair. The Solution: An ancient medallion exists, known only to a handful of sages and thought to be a legend by those few - The Mythril Heart. The players must learn of the Heart, find it, and discover its secrets. Baxter has forgotten where the heart is, But he knows where the Scroll is that can locate the heart.   The 8 clerics inform the party that they must find the Mithril compass. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After returning and recovering in the town of Pax Tharkas. Maldrathor the mage has found you in town after hearing That you have discoverd the book of runes. He then tells valaska who to talk to in order to Scribe runes. Through a few weeks of Training she can Now scribe runes and add them to socketed weapons. Hombus slips the Red ring of fire protection, into Athrogates pocket. "You keep this." he says. As the party sets up quickly for the next journey. As the world is still dark. Valaska Hands Athrogate a small sword, and says "Here Ive Made this for you. use it for godspeed." The Jinn inside of Thane is eating away at his soul. He must remove it, He feels it taking over. He asks the elders how to handle the demon inside of him. The elder Farham of Pax Tharkas lets thane know that his soul is under fire and it might be lost within the darkness of the Jinn. There is knowledge of a book of soulfire and the jinn soulfire gems, You must go to the lair of fire and Remove the Jinn from Thanes body. (complete)   Through Slaying Magma gollems, Fire imps and Scorpion elementals, The Lair of fire allowed the party to gain peices of the soulfire gems throughout the dungeon. Athrogate was reminded of his Childhood in the woods of Quelos Nira during the summertime. Hot winds blowing through the pine swept trees. It was the inscriptions on the walls of the ancient firey Lair that reminded him of such things Where he tossed all sorts of different weapons at the trees near his home. Sharpening his skills since a child of young. but that is another story. Currently At the end of this lair all the gems were placed upon a round table that held thane tightly and securely with the use of iron chains. The gems began to glow. Through the dungeon each time the players found a gem, Thane would then go Berzerk trying to escape. Gaining the Strength of the jinn Thane would try and destroy the party, but with each Gem found. The party would use Valaskas new ability of runescribing to slay parts of the Jinns soul that was sucked out and into the gem from Thanes body. Helping Thane Recover. The final placement of the gems opened a portal into the Jinns realm. The only way to truely defeat the Jinn Was to send only one memeber into the portal. Handed all relics, potions and weapons of power. Athrogate advanced on the portal opened by the 6 Jinn soulfire Gems. Wreathed in flame Athrogate the Dwarven Ranger walked in. He entered a flaming realm, Atop a mountain of fire, A castle of Ash and lava Across the stone pathway he walked, Towards the Jinn's Throne. A throne made of fire sat the incarnation of this Iferit. Athrogate raised his Two Magical swords Runed with perfect gems, Inscribed by Valaska. "Walk no further mortal! For I hold the book of soulfire!" the Jinn snarled from his Firey throne. "In this realm I am a god!" The Jinn yells.  Athrogate raised up his swords and began to charge. The Jinn hails him with magic missles. Flying fourth with flames trailing. Athrogate slips dropping one of his swords, getting hit and charrged by the missles. He rolls over badly hurt, Reaching his charred hands into his bag for a potion. "ughhhh!"  he moans, in emense pain. He then remembers and slides his hand into his pocket. Putting on the RED RING! "hahahahahhahaha! the dwarf cries." As he slowly sits up and drinks a large potion of healing. "You think flame can hurt the Weilder of Such power? my weapons are forged by the gods!"  Athrogate stands up. Grasping his Socketed scimitar +2 with a perfect Magic missle Rune. His last hope before death.... For his sly toung Athrogate is trying to fool the Jinn Into thinking he has god weapons. "I am Athrogate! Weilder of Ordumtil!!!! The sword of fire!!!! Blast fourth all flame upon me DEMON!!!!"  As the Jinn charges up "You are no god Nor weilder of Anceint Flame!!!!!!!! DIE MORTAL!!!!!" and... all the flame in the realm shoot fourth in bolts and beams from the Demon Jinn's hands. Athrogate activates the red ring. He feels the magic flow fourth, Feeling the pain but suffering through it he lets out a stout but painful dwarven laugh. After the Demon was done, Left stunned. Athrogate Stopped laughing. "You see demon. I am a dwarf of legend!!!!!!"   The Jinn Shocked gasps for air. "NO!!!!!!, It can not be!! I weild the book of soulfire!" He begins to get up from his throne, and turn away frightend. Athrogate sees his chance. The portal he came through begins to close. Time stops for Athrogate. He feels cold as the flames around him begin to slow. For its not fear that grips him, It is the thought of winning. Athrogate tosses His scimitar through the air, feeling as if he were a child once more in the warm woods of Quelos Nira, Whiriling and spinning towards the Jinn. The Jinn turns back just to see the look on Athrogates face, happily smiling with the feeling of warmth and joy from a long lost childhood as it cuts and punctures deep into the firey scalp of the Demon. The book of soulfire falls to the floor, Athrogate must decide. Can he get the book, and make it to the portal in time? Using all of the Dexterity he had gathered since birth, Growing up as a Ranger in the woodlands of Quelos. He sprang foreward. The Jinn was falling in slow motion. The book leaving the Demons hands, As Each step pushed Athrogate foreward. His boots ripping from the speed. The flames crashing down all around him. He makes it to the book. Turns back to see the portal half way closed and moving fast. On the other side of the portal, Valaska, Zarc and the still Chained and unconcious Thane await as they notice the portal closing. "He wont make it in time!" Zarc screams. The dwarf puts his feet to the test. Not rock has he climbed not tunnels has he dwelled. For it was woodland and sky that he worships and loves. All these years of swinging, climbing trees, Raising his dexterity to the maximum. Remembering himself unarmed He pulls out his other sword that Valaska gave him.. And clasps it tightly. He feels something on the handle as he holds it tighter. Its a rune. And as his touch activates the runes enscribed into the sword. He remembers when Valaska gave him the sword she said "use it for godspeed." and godspeed it was, for the haste rune inside the sword was active! "Valaska you have saved us again!"  As the dwarf Bolts towards the almost closed portal, Hurling through head first hitting the ground on the other side like a ton of bricks. He has made it. He has won. The party then uses the book of soulfire To Free Thane Completely. and entrap the soul from the book into a Rune, Which was used to Craft Zarc a Hellfire Blade. His new weapon in arms. The party then went with Thane, Retiring him back to the town of Galvin, For his adventuring days were over.   -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 8:  The Mythril heart Scroll: After Thane retires, You are resting at Home in Galvin. The world is still dark, All vegitation is lost, and the towns are running poor. Undead and other beasts are roaming the lands and costing the Military of north keep far too much money to guard the towns in Tylondale without food or ration supply. Early the next morning, The party has given up.....You hear a knock at the door. A delivery from a small kender Is handed to you. This Scroll Is sent from the high clerist tower. It reads:  "Dear Friends. This is high Clerist Dunren We know what has happend to you an your party with the Dark knight Baxter and of what has become of the 8 Thought to be Clerics.  But these were no clerics, They were Dark mages, And they are Servants of Baxter. He Wants to Corrupt your Thoughts into not knowing friend from foe.   We have found the Mithril scroll, It revealed the Mithril compass. We found the mithril compass in a dungeon to the west full of monsters and undead alike Which the the clerics easily surpassed and slain. The party then followed the compass to the dungeon where the Altar that held the mithril heart was located. Upon finding it, Baxter's Clerics Returned, This time with black robes. They Shattered the heart and Took it from the party, Teleporting away as the Dungeon was collapsing due to Well placed exploding energy beads. The party narrowly escaped. We Looked into our seeing stone, and Know what hardship awaits you. But the true test is of what is to come, If you are worthy you will travel to an ancient location deep beneath The Mountains Of The Dwarves In the realm Of Shadowspar.   Travel to the Ancient safekeep of the Guardian Relics. So you may find your mounts, and a way to reach the next path of your quest.... The Floating Citadel of 'The Nameless'. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 9:  The Ancient safekeep Of the Guardian Relics: You see Pictures of animals Silouetting The Entrance to the Dungeon.   The player enter a cave to receive the Talismans: ATHROGATE ANVILCRACK  (Talisman Of the Arachnid)    ZARC     (Talisman Of The Noctournal bat) HOMBUS GRISALDI  (Talisman Of the Horned ram) DARIUS BLACKBLADE  (Talisman Of the Obsidian) THANE STOUTWOOD  (Talisman Of Greythorn Lizard) VELASKA    (Talisman Of Pegasus)    MAGLORE ELISTAN    (Talisman Of The Amphibian) KAZ KIZZLEMAT      (Talisman of the Sphere) MALDRATHOR        (Talismon of the Gryphon) After returning from The Ancient safekeep that Dunren informed you of, in order To find your mounts. He has a few words for the party. "You all have made it this far and I trust in you. and you have all the service of the high clerics." You Must  Go to the Mage tower, and Fight the 8 Mages or.... said to be clerics that have taken the Mithril heart. They Are Called The "Nameless" they are guarding the location of Baxter's Keep In the Dark Citadel. But You cannot see this Citadel without a Relic That We Know of In the Ruins of South Shadowspar, Deep beneath the plains of Despair. Go there and Retreave what is Known as The All Seeing Eye. From there Return and we Shall Help direct you On the next path of your Journey. (complete)   ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 10:  The ruins of the All seeing eye: The party travels on the mounts givaen to them in the Guardians Temple. Thanks to Dunren you can easily Travel with haste to any location. Upon entering the Ruins of the All seeing eye. You fight Water elementals and Eyewings. Battling through unlocking doors and finding two relics. The all seeing eye, Which happens to be a big red gem, that when gazed through can see any invisible object or creature, and also makes illusions disappear. Also Hombus and Athrogate stumbled upon an eyepatch that when gazed through allows the finding of hidden doors and traps. The eye was used to spot the floating citadel of 'The Nameless'. The 8 Mages beheld a giant floating tower invisible in the sky. To which Athrogate and his men are now approaching. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 11:  The Tower of the Nameless: The quest starts as you venture fourth from the white mage citadel near North Keep into the floating citadel of the Nameless dark mage tower upon your mounts. Battling through the 11 levels of the tower. Unlocking doors and secret passages using Blue and Red colored magic orbs collected from corrupted mages slain through each level. Zarc using his new found Hellfire Reaver. Slaying away using multi-flame abilities and auras. Upon reaching the top level of the tower Athrogate finds a passage leading to the rooftop. As the party reaches the top. They find 3 Dark mages, and one wearing a white robe. The party battles the 3 mages. Each wave of casts from each mage summoned 10 undead that slowly advance on the party. The white robed mage which heal the undead and reanimate them upon death was slain first. Then the Two other Black mages. The dying breath of the last mage, Revealed Baxters keep. It was said Located in Northern Palderon. The party gets a move on. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 12:  Baxters castle found in north palderon: Knowing the land and the deadliness of such a place, the party travels to North Keep for aid. The King Dore'tal Humos wants the world full of light once more and offers  a large army to march on the Castle of the Dark Knight Baxter. The party slays and battles through the lands of Palderon and into the castle. Finding Baxter on his throne. “You seek the Mithril heart? I have It Hidden within My armor!!!! Now Try and take it!!!” Says the Dark Knight. Baxter then absorbs the Jinn from Zarcs blade and becomes a Dark Knight Jinn with new found power. Knowing the partys fate if they face the Jinn unprepared Dunren Saves the party and teleports them to the Floating citadel. Atop the citadel the party waits. As the Dark Jinn flies up to the floating citadel to meet the party. Dunren informs them that they must channel the Jinn back into a rune to free Baxter from such power. Dunrel also gives Valaska and Athrogate Bracers that have a chance to reflect any type of magic. The party now knows the task to come. The party meets the Black Dragon with the Dark Jinn riding its back atop the white mage Citadel. The dragon charges up its breath weapon. Athrogate and Valaska Make the roll for the Reflection bracers. The Dragons breath is reflected back. Slaying the Dragon. Down comes the Dark Jinn.  Valaska begins to Channel the Soul of the Jinn. Zarc begins to slash. The soul is retreived. and Athrogate Gives the Dark knight the final blow. The Dark knight is slain. The Dragon falls off the tower. Causing a huge crack in the side of the tower. After the battle. the Tower begins to crumble and fall towards North Keep. Through the Wreckage. Zan Dal, The newest party member. Crawled for the Dark Knight. The party has told him to Get the Mithril heart before it was too late. The Tower had crash landed Near North Keep, somewhat to the East. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 13:  The Cleric Tower has moved: In a great battle, The tower has become ruins. and moved near the Capitol North Keep. The party appoints Zan Dal To be the keeper of the Mithril heart. Upon putting the Necklace on. The Mithril heart begins to glow and sink into Zan Dals Chest. With great pain Zan Dal falls to the floor. His Skin turning slightly metalic. The monk now has Iron skin and each day will grow a few inches. The Mithril heart has granted Strength and a strong sensational "yourning".  But what this Yourning is for, the party has yet to discover.  The King of North Keep wishes to see the party. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 14:  Mithril Heart, No solution: You Now travel back to north keep upon Gaining the power of the cursed mithril heart. Though needed. King and lord Dore'tal Humos Has found a sage who Knows of Ancient Lore. His name is Demucouf.. and He has been Entrapped In the Frozen Conclave. for his thought evil deeds he is located To the far west. Release him and return him to North Keep. Upon entering The Frozen Conclave. a voice is heard. "I am Demucouf.... i know why you are here...........There is a pillar.......  Near the Circle of Seven to the north...... Go there and Discover its Secret! AHHHHHHHHHHHh!!!!!!"  As you see coming from the next room in the conclave. Ice shards and chunks of skin and blood flying through the door. Demucouf was slain by an Ice dragon searching for its new lair. The party handles the Ice dragon. Feeling they have lost. The party feels there must be no way to reverse the worlds endless darkness. The only thing to do next is to make way for the Circle of Seven. The party comes to the circle of each mage tower. The Necromancer tower greets you warmly and informs you of a stairwell leading downward in the center of the circle of seven. Where the stairs lead no one knows, though it is said to Lead to the center of Dalruan. The party breaks the huge concrete plate beneath the pillar blocking the passage. The party heads down the long stairway. The party finds long slain Dracolich bones and returns them to the Necromancers of Circle of seven. The party returns to the Mithril Cave. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 15:  The Mithril Cave: Venturing down the long path the party comes to a door. Sealed with magical chains coming from each corner. Holding a book to a magically sealed door. The party uses teleport to get past the door. The players have teleported to the Ancient red dragons lair. The Dragon Breaks free, Athrogate running away throws the book from the door into the dragons mouth. Upon consuming the book. The Red dragon takes the form of the Ancient Demon Dragon Haritu. The party makes it out of the cave. Running to the White mage tower. The White mages see what is happening and call for aid. All the towers of the circle of seven begin to channel on Haritu. Holding him at bay. But how long will this last? Dunren says the mages will run out of power within the next few hours.
