Is it possible to have layers that only specific players and GM can see?

I like to be able to write notes right on the map and share them only with specific players, because I'm weird like that.

It isn't possible currently. You can put notes for you on the GM layer, but notes for players would need to either be in a Handout you share with just those players (fast to do by dragging it to their avatar/name), or by whispering it to them (You could set up macros for that).

Posts in followed topics will appear in your notification menu (pink envelope next to your name at top of page). There also a link at the top of the forum home page to show followed topics. Not sure what you mean by "archive". You can bookmark them if you wish. I do that for several popular threads.
