Title: Love is a Beautiful Pain - Endless Tears System: BESM 3rd edd Optional: BESM is a Point buy, tri stat and 2d6 system. Meant to play anime games with. It is a generic system meaning it can play many genres of anime easily.
Genre: Romance/Slice Of Life/Drama/Supernatural/Fantasy/ isekai .
Starting Location: The players have left japan and purgatory and currently in Maken Ki world. Date / Time: Saturday 4pm CST.

Entry: I will provide everything you need. All you must have is a good mic. Story:
You have just moved to a new city. You were selected for a prestigious highschool. Your parents have purchased a house, paid bills for a full year and given you enough yen to live off of by yourself for that year. They will join you but need to finish up their businesses before they do. You will live by yourself for that time. As you get settled in your house, Unpacking your stuff getting ready for school tomorrow. You hear your stomach growl. You have yet to stock the fridge with food due to the market being closed since you moved in at night
You decide to go to the convenience store 6 blocks away. But it's raining and bad weather outside. You grab your umbrella, get your raincoat on and start heading there. You walk the first 4 blocks fine. But the 5th block the street signal and lights around it seem out. You cross anyway. Next thing you hear and see is tires screeching and a pair of headlights coming to you full speed. The lights come at you and take you over. Next thing you hear is your alarm clock going off. It is morning. Rain has stopped and the sun is out. You're in a cold sweat like you just had the worst nightmare. You clean up and head to school. Wondering what happened? You remember the car, you remember you were hungry and that you didn’t finish unpacking the house. But was that just a dream? You are unsure. Everything seems to be in order now. You approach the school and hear the first class bell ring. There is no time to think this over now you can’t be late on your first day.
Currently In game:
The players have found out the died, and was in purgatory. From there they found a deity called Hanging Man that controls purgatory. They discovered that there is a mist, this mist can let them travel between worlds. After some hesitations they went through the mist.
When they traveled through the mist they met a entity that identified herself as a guardian. She gave the a grimoire they needed to sign with blood to form a bond with it. After doing so the book guided them and explained world and the game. This game is where people jump through mist and gain powers and fight each other to become gods or goddesses.
They have been adjusting to there life in current world Maken Ki learning and trying to gain its power. (This is just one world of many they can go too) They also have a working relationship with the goddess of this realm and count
her as a close friend. Asking her for advice and help when needed.

We will follow None Fanservice for this. This means male or females don't fall in love at first sight. There may be a physical attraction at first yes. This is normal. But any relationship you wish to have you must work for. I am no love expert, in fact I don’t think anyone is. I will Take npc reactions from standard romance anime’s. Sense this is romance I expect some stuff, but this isn’t ERP at some point if I say fade to black it fades to black. No questions, no rolls. Rules: I expect everyone to be mature about this game. It's already a very niche game. We are adults, some jokes are ok while we play but even as adults there is no no topics please abide by them i should not have to spell them out for you. This will have a somewhat serious tone as the title of the game says. Rabbit trails are fine, but keep them brief. I am foremost trying to introduce BESM to new players. Please respect that and understand that, so I don't want anything bad in my game that will be counterproductive. Homebrew rules: Most of these you may not understand till creation, but I am putting them down so it's in stone. You will start with 140 points and we will follow benchmark rules. The exception is under Attributes you can forgo a lot of points there and either assign to stats, skills or items. Or just plain hold on to them till the game becomes more supernatural/fantasy.
1A. They have played for few months so current point value is 187. As stated in 1 You may take extra points to do stats BUT this is rule on that you may only have 1 stat at 4 rest have to be 3 or lower if you choose this.
2A. With new point value in 1A. This has changed to 1 stat max 5 and rest 4 or lower You may choose attributes that don't directly connect to super powers or magical powers but need my approval first. No combat based attributes ether. This will change once you get into the supernatural/fantasy genre. Skills A few things here. 1. I don’t allow multiple specializations like book says you can with spending points. You get 1 specialization free only. 2. Also I use more dnd style of skill checks then book says. You roll 2d6+skill rank+specialization if applies+stat affect skill then you meet a dc not a %. Defects books says you must choose at least 1. But after that you may have as many as you want. I will put a cap on this to 3 max including the one you must take. Items in book items always cost points, a car cost points a computer cost points. I will make you spend points in creation, but in game I find it foolish to spend points. So while you shop in game and after creation you can spend yen you have instead of points. Players will start out with certain stuff free no point cost. Example, cell phone, computer: laptop or desktop. And other stuff specific to their character. If they collect baseball cards for example. It would be reasonable through there life to have a full collection of them and other sport stuff. The money your parents gave you for the year in pitch of story, is only for your living expenses, food, clothes so forth anything extra beyond that you must get money yourself. I think this covers everything, if I can think of more I will add more.
