Picking up from pt1, the battle continued; however, after putting out his flaming feet, the leader of the men in green sought an entreaty of peace to discuss what was occurring. The five skeptically agreed and talked at length with the leader where they learnt that his name was Dael and that he was the Captain of the Green Cloaks, a secret company to the Emperor of Gogalla. They learned that he and his men had been tasked by the Emperor to retrieve the Heart Sphere from a wicked sorcerer named Gareth Windstorm who had stolen it to open a portal to the underworld and free demons under his name. Once having retrieved the Sphere they brought it to the caverns, a part of which was a healing axis for magic items, until further notice. In further talks with Dael, they learned that they had been duped by Gareth, some of them realising the errors in the message they had received as they spoke with Dael. During the course of the conversation they came to believe Dael for the truth he was telling and agreed to go with him to the Empire and return the Heart Sphere to the Amber Tower sorcerers for safe-keeping. Dael proved his trustworthiness, taking the five to the healing pedestal where he freed the Sphere from it's healing process. Seeing it for the first time they saw that it was a clear crystal ball about the size of a lawn bowl ball. Inside the Sphere a red misty gas swirled lazily about in which tiny points of light shone. In the centre of the Sphere a smaller red ball of light pulsed brightly, sending out waves of red light that ended against the glass. Giving it to Leonithas to hold, he led them out of the Tomb to the ruins of Alelas. Once they had entered the ruins they were met by Gareth and a battle ensued. Leonithas fell to Gareth's power as they others fought against him; however, after a quick revival Leonithas sought his revenge against the scorcerer quickly knocking his health down.  In a last ditch effort to save himself, Gareth used his powers to transport himself from the scene, leaving the five and Dael in the ruins.
