Problem with macros creating for VTM

Fights very specific in VTM before 5th edition. When you try to hit your enemy, you have to roll Dexterity+Brawl (for example) and all successes above the first you need to add to your damage dices (Stength+succeses above the first=damage). But, if i get right, i can`t use variables in macros. How can i create a table where i can show my success in hit and damage in 1 table? Now i have only: &{template:default} {{hit by HandHit}//that script is dex+brawl// -1+%{Maggy|Damage}//just add strength// )d10>6 }}  But there i can see only quantity of succeses for hit roll, not dices. Almost in hit roll i get 0 success - damage script anyway will be triggered, depsite of i miss. And it is a problem too. Maybe, i can somehow save value of success in hit roll and use this later, on another part of script? And sorry for bad english. I hope i clear to explain my problem.

You cant do exactly what you want, but try this: &{template:default} [[ HandHit})d10>6 + Damage})d10>6 -1]] This will show you three rows: Hit by: the total of the hit roll Damage roll: just the damage roll Damage total: total of hit roll + damage roll -1. When you get a miss you just have to ignore the damage totals.  If you aren't interested in the damage roll, you can use &{template:default} [[ HandHit})d10>6 + (%{Maggy|Damage})d10>6 -1]]
