[Weekly Downtime Thread][Summer III 1526 HC][Sessions 233-241]

Please post any of your downtime activities below. You can find the full rules for downtime  here . You can find last week's downtime thread  here.  An index of all past downtime threads can be found  here. This thread is for the week:  17 June to 21 June, covering sessions 233-241 Always remember to be specific about what downtime action you are taking! If you're leveling up type that in your post labeled as OOC! If you're looking into an item be specific about where that item is from, what mission, when you got it, who from, etc. If you write "I read that book I found" the DM is likely to have no clue what you are talking about. If you are learning a language, or tool make sure to write down how many weeks you have been practicing! This lowers the DC, and gives advantage depending on the number of weeks. Also a reminder that players only get one main downtime action per week.

Fenris Nathair OOC : Learning Thylean Nubby OOC: Training Brewing supplies, second attempt.  Orithar Trisk OOC: Double Bladed Axe training with Dwerren, week 4/4 Drago & Nalu Minor Action:  Drago sends a letter to everyone he has renown with asking them for help acquiring the knowledge he needs for missions. In the letter, he asks if anyone has a primordial egg or where he could find one. (The ones we found on 2Q in the Temple of the moon). Either the knowledge of helping a dragon grow without killing or death or a way of casting magic when you don't have access. If anyone is willing to help him they can send a reply and he will go meet them in person. As a junior Council member, he will send the cohort council members the same letter asking for aid, or if there is a section in the library that might contain the knowledge.  Major OOC: Leveling to 11!!!!! 1000g Spend to upgrade tower to a Transmutation Tower.

Nils Ullstein Location:   Halls of the Cohort Arcanum, Isle of Fabrica  Major Action: During his travels to the Khinasi lands seeking the Oracle, Nils was.impressed by their devotion to Avani and the great temple within the city. He seeks a local temple on the Isle to learn more of Lana, the Lifegiver, the Lady of Light and Reason. Shou Location:  Somewhere near the Hall of the Cohort Arcanum, Isle of Fabrica - "Druid" Lifestyle  Major Action:  Shou finally finds a suitable mount by begining the process of becoming an Próvaseid and finding a new family in Peach. He soon realizes that getting in and out of his burrow is much harder on four legs than two! 

Einar Erlachsson Location:  Hall of the Cohort Arcanum, Mythros in Thylea Major Action: Level up from level 1 to level 2 in the same class, fighter. Zhirov Yurievich Location:  Hall of the Cohort Arcanum in Fabrica Major Action:  Level up from level to level 2 in the same class, ranger.

Mizra Kadir el-Djafara Missing the comforts of living an excessive lifestyle, Kadir loses his resolve and decides to retire from adventuring.  Returning to Djafra, he rejoins the temple to continue his studies in a safer environment while enjoying the life style afforded the son of an Emir. Jannis The Red Jannis will spend 90 GP hiring a tutor to assist him with his second week of cross-training into Eldritch Knight. Savas Al-Hadar Savas returns a bit worse for the wear after his confrontation with Alkavah.  He relaxes and recuperates with is family, splitting his time between Eirena, Nasaadi, and Áine.  Savas definitely seems more affectionate of late than he previously has been. Despite his recovery, Savas will spend time training and meditating to gain another level of cleric. Kazimir Zima Each use of his powers drawing him closer to the service of The Cold Rider, Kazimir turns his back and forsakes the "gifts" granted to him by Azrai.  No more than another Vos warrior now, he retires from adventuring and returns to his homeland to take the hard road and resume his studies as a wizard, resolved to no longer take any shortcuts to power. Captain Roland Completely infatuated with his new moniker, "Captain" Roland departs the cohort to seek out life on the sea.  It won't be long before he has a ship and crew of his own, and then he'll truly be a Captain!  He just needs to learn how to sail first...

Cedrych Brightbough Cedrych hangs around in Innishiere, basking in the glory of his latest conquest. When his welcome starts to wear thin, he sets out on horseback for the Coullabhie. He seeks out the court of Rhiana Waynmuun and attempts to gain an audience there. If successful, he regales Rhiana with a much embellished version of Vampire's Demise that puts Cedrych at the center of everything. When he's done showing off, he asks for a private audience. In private, he switches to a much more serious demeanor and discusses next steps with Rhiana. He informs her that Blood Sister Alkava escaped the tomb and that she has claimed Vampire's Hold for herself. He provides her with valuable information concerning the Blood Sister including her capabilities as a spellcaster, the Blood Urns she draws power from, and the blood golems she creates. He asks Rhiana what her next plans are, and expresses grave concern for the Sielwode. If Rhiana's forces could claim Vampire's Hold, they'd be able to put pressure on Kiergard and support Lady Galanohel more easily. He explains that he intends to head to the Vampire's Hold to attempt to treat with Alkava and determine if diplomacy could be an option as well. He also thanks Rhiana for the reward, but asks if she would consider letting him return it in exchange for an item or boon. OOC: Cedrych levels up to Rogue 10. Taking the Lucky feat in place of his ASI. Kazimir Volkov TBD Salazar di Fioretti TBD

Alvah Laurent Since Alvah finally managed to grasp Vos, she will travel the continent and learn a new trick or two from some paladin's and wizards. ( Levling up to lvl 6 Lore Bard. ) Eirena Lightshadow Spends most of her downtime at home, awaiting Savas' return, to celebrate his victory over the vampire! Until that happens, she will begin learning Midgardian, since it looks like she'll be continueing to travel into the Margreve alot. ( Week 1 ) She would also try hard to spend alot of time with Nasaadi. Áine surely requires alot of attention to take care of, so she will make sure to do her absolute best that Nasaadi doesn't feel like she's being left out, even if it means that she'll risk sleep deprivation. Which would be consequential now, since she no longer can ignore sleep. ( Forgot to add the handled in session tag before Sere resolved downtime >.> ) Robert Bossouri Robert will spend his downtime in prayer and meditation, leveling up to 7th level of Cleric, thanking Neira for her continued guidance. ( Level up to LvL 7 Cleric ) Sithric Sidhefriend He will celebrate the victory against the vampire in Innishiere, dancing and drinking together with his companions. Grateful to have lived another day, he will make sure that once he recovers from the massive hangover he's bound to have, he will improve on his cunning and level up to 2nd level of Rogue. ( Level up to LvL 2 Rogue, total of Level 8 ) Takumir Jachral Will do some menial labour in Berhagen to gain some pocket change.

Korak (Learning Athletics Week 2 and Becoming Friends with a Noble ) Korak will enjoy his time in Innishire and find a trainer to help him make better use of his natural muscle. He will ask Caitlin Mhic Cianaigh the noblewoman he met during the ball to host him for his stay as a guest and in his spare time from training will work to further befriend her household. He is courteous and is mostly curious what noble life is like in Innishire just taking in the sights and admiring any fine art laying about. (Painting a Portrait for a new friend) With Lady Caitlin's interest in Koraks story of the battle as he saw it, he paints a mural depicting himself standing in a hallway shield up with those two shadowy creatures at his back only barred by the grates and in front of him a hoard of undead piling down upon him headed by the blood sister pointing at him while two of his comrades lay at his feet and the others made their push to the heart. He will hand it off to her before leaving and give thanks for the hospitality.  Hedrin (Leveling to 8) If he gets about 2500xp Hedrin will level and find new ways to mold heat and water into various forms of weather magic. (Trying to Get rid of Tongue plant curse) The words of wisdom or lies from the cat woman they met regarding his tongue Silver spoon and a forked tongue a plate of food goes uneaten. The boy interprets this as Riches, lies, and gluttony. In order to try and remove this curse he only wears basic robes for the month, does not lie at all cost, and fasts for as long as he can during training in hopes of making one or all of these interpretations satisfied. 

Raven Tonks Rowan Major: Level to 6   watch over the eggs and if they hatch, name the one that claims her Cedar. Hen Major :  learning the Deception skill. week 2 Hadrian Darkleaf Major:  Having been pacified with the Serpent of the Lake,  Hadrian searches  for more info regarding their prophecies   Rendi Theocus Major: learn Brecht from Nils Chikat Stonehaven Major:  returns to the margreve to continue negotiations of the Cohort and Zobeck to establish a mini base in zobeck Nerolia Major:   sings some songs.

Phage Will pray and buy a goat to sacrifice to her God. Will level up to Cleric 6. Grian Will level up to Druid 1 week 3/3

Glenn Sturgis Will level up to 8. He would like to start researching the temple of Laerme in the shadow world. He would like to see if this corresponds to a temple in his plane.  Glenn would also like to message Mispera and let her know the sad news about Biscuits. Glenn would also message Larmedlyth to ask again if there's anything he can do to try and repair his shield.  

Diesa Gemfire Location: Roesone Diesa visits Proudglaive, probably while escorting correspondance from Bardenhold, and attempts to find time with Empress' court mage. Enquiring if she can learn an illusion school spell that can suppress all sound within an area. In exchange she offers an equivalent level spell from her own spell book, or monetary compensation if needed. Galena Abanathu Location: Mispera Galena continues tinkering and improving on her musical composition, trying to get it just right. Aubrae Trevelyan Location: Coeranys Aubrae returns to visit her aunt's estate, where she spent her adolscent years, and see if she knows how the realm is leaning in the war for iron throne. Coeranys being one of the few ostensibly neutral anuirean countries remaining. She also visits her mother and step-father to reassure her that she is alive and doing well as knight of Laerme. Sabiha bint Habivi Location: Thylea Sabiha continues being a very magical (snake-)girl (Level up to 5, Sorcerer - assuming missing xp from session 166 is 400+ )

Cordie Major:  Cordie continues attempting to learn the Nature skill. Minor:  Putting most of the gold earned on her last mission towards tower work [3400/4000 gp spent] Lyla Lyla hangs out around Zobeck and Cordie tower to help keep Fred's eggs safe until they hatch. She wonders what she could have done against something so strong even if she hadn't passed out. (OOC: No major actions) Medi Medi actually spends some time around Proudglaive. Figuring she might end up helping with the war situation, she seeks a teacher who can help her learn Andu, to assist with any noble discussions she might find herself in. She will gladly pay 10gp to hire someone for this. Major:  Learning Andu [Week 1]

Darvius Darvius requests to begin construction of a monastery in Innishire. He will use his 23 renown to request assistance with building Materials and labor, he will supply the remaining costs himself. He hopes to start attracting students as the Monastery is built, and he will begin training them using the monastery construction as part of his lessons.

Fenris Nathair Fenris will need more time to grasp Thylean. Nubby Nubby successfully learns to use Brewer's Supplies Orithar Trisk Orithar completes his training, and is now able to use both sides of his axe. Drago &amp; Nalu Drago levels up and makes improvements to his tower. (Elee: Trying to ask people about dragon aging or evading leyline control) Drago doesn't get many responses, but those he does makes it clear that no one knows any ways to make dragons grow beyond what he listed. The coullabhie tells him that there are very few ways to overcome magical restrictions that aren't long, tedious, and arduous. There's a reason most invasions are slow processes. Some people say she goes from ages 1 to 100 every year in a cycle, but these rumors appear to be unsubstantiated. It is however well known she's capable of taking endless forms, and no one quite knows what her true one is. Shou (Elee: Transformation into&nbsp;Próvaseid) Shou goes through with his transformation (same stats as an Alseid). I think we talked about this already. Einar Erlachsson Einar trains and improves his skills now that he's out of prison. Zhirov Yurievich Zhirov improves his ability to track and hunt prey. Mizra Kadir el-Djafara Kadir retires back to his comfortable home. Jannis The Red Jannis continues his training. Savas Al-Hadar Savas levels up, accessing greater divine powers. Kazimir Zima Kazimir retires, and disappears to follow his own path. Captain Roland Roland retires. Some say that an ex-member of the Cohort had some skill at sailing before she lost her sight. Whether he seeks her out to learn, or finds someone less eccentric, Roland likely finds his fate on the waves eventually. Cedrych Brightbough Cedrych somehow finds time to train himself amidst his posturing, gloating, bragging and basking, and improves his skills. (Elee: Not sure if the social side of this came up in session, chatting with Rhiana Waynmuun about Alkavah) Kazimir Volkov TBD Salazar di Fioretti TBD Alvah Laurent Alvah levels up and expands her repertoire of magical knowledge. Eirena Lightshadow Eirena doesn't have enough time to dedicate to learning the language between caring for the two children, and can't grasp it this time. Robert Bossouri Robert levels up,&nbsp; Sithric Sidhefriend Sithric takes after Cedrych's particular skillset a little more, for better or worse. Takumir Jachral Takumir does some good work and his earnings total to the equivalent of 32sp and 24cp, before accounting for his living costs. Korak Korak makes little progress, possibly due to dividing his time so much between training, socialising and painting. (Elee: Socialising with a noblewoman he met) Korak discovers that Lady Caitlin Mhic Cianaigh is actually the heiress to The South Deeps, and lives with her father in the town of Hyarmen Sadh. She's very elegant as always. Korak is chased out of their home by her father when he catches him painting a lascivious painting of his daughter. Caitlin tells him to come back another time. Hedrin Hedrin levels up, but still can't find anyone to listen to him talk about the weather. (Elee: Trying to get rid of the curse of unluck) Hedrin's curse doesn't lift, but the magic does seem to weaken. It's likely he's on the right track. Perhaps it might be easier to dispel now? Raven Tonks Rowan Raven levels up, and readjusts to life as a non-vampire once again. Hen Hen will need more time to learn how to properly deceive people. Hadrian Darkleaf (Elee: Researching prophecies made by the lake serpent in Thylea) Hadrian doesn't manage to garner any new information this week. Rendi Theocus Rendi doesn't quite grasp the language after the first month. Chikat Stonehaven (Elee: Talking with Zobeck officials about a Cohort branch there) The city of Zobeck says they will consider this proposal depending on what sort of building The Cohort plans to build, and who will be in charge of it. Nerolia Nerolia sings some songs. Some of her fans offer her tips for her performances, totalling 28sp across the month. Phage Phage levels up. The goat does not level up. Grian Grian levels up, attuning himself to the ways of nature magic. Glenn Sturgis Glenn levels up. (OOC: Research would be a major downtime action, in this case you won't be able to as you're already levelling up.) (Elee: Sending a couple of messages) Mispera is very much saddened by the news about Biscuits. Larmedylth responds in a masculine voice that it would be almost impossible for anyone other than herself. Diesa Gemfire (Elee: Researching spells) The court mage offers to teach Diesa the Private Sanctum spell. I marked off 5 renown with Roesone. Galena Abanathu (Elee: Crafting a musical piece) - Rolled in Light RP, Need more time. Aubrae Trevelyan (Elee: Socialising in Coeranys) Aubrae discovers that Ghoere, Roesone, Avanil, and Boeruine are all trying VERY hard to win over the people of Coeranys. Even Aubrae's family is receiving a number of extravagant gifts from the various "empires." Aubrae's mother gives her a Pact Drake named Cobhlaith. This drake will follow Aubrae until the Day of Rebirth in 1528 HC after which it will return to its masters in Boeruine. This drake will not fight, spy, or do anything on Aubrae's behalf unless enforcing a contract. It will also assist in the creation of such contracts to the degree that it can. Sabiha bint Habivi The magic levels up and so does Sabiha. Cordie Cordie successfully learns the Nature skill. Work continues on her tower. Lyla Lyla eats some honey and feels better pretty quickly. She also feeds some to her baby brontosaurus when it hatches. Medi Medi will need more time to learn Andu.
