Saving an image file from a token

March 16 (12 years ago)

Help!! I've found an awesome image file that I dragged into my map as a token and I want to use it as the image in the character journal now.  Problem is, I don't know where I found the image.

Is it possible to somehow capture or save the image that's assigned to the token so I can upload/paste/duplicate into the journal?

Nope.

Hmmmm.  I couldn't seem to find a way either.  You can't even drag it up to the url/search bar to do a google image search.  You MIGHT be able to zoom in as far as possible on the token, do a screen shot, crop the down to just the image, and then do a google image search to see if you can find where it came from to download it again.   A bit of work, but nothing super difficult.

No luck with a google image search.  Next best thing - I did zoom in and use the snipping tool and just used the resulting image file as the image for the journal.  Good enough, I suppose.

I found a way, looking at the resources in chrome you can look at all of your used assets.

Here's a video showing how to get it.
