After a brief
respite as we travelled to Terminus Station, we immediately set to find Gara,
whom we presumed was on the train. We were intercepted by a Harpy who’s song was enchanting. Normally,
I would enjoy listening to a lovely song, but this was not the time. Others
however, were under her sway. I had instinctively thought to shove the harpy
off the bridge, which we gave into without resistance. Somehow, I failed to
notice that the Harpy had wings, and could simply start flying. I need to be
more observant. Vellios fell off of
the bridge, or jumped, I am not quite sure. Luckily , the feather token kicked
in and saved him from a squishy end. He encountered further resistance as he
was immediately attacked. We jumped down to ensure he survived, swiftly ending
everyone who sought to kill us. The final thug
jumped onto the train and in a panic, we jumped on to follow. We tracked him
down in the back of the train, and confirmed that Gara was on the train. We
found Gara, who immediately ran, to the roof surprisingly. Who would be dumb
enough to climb onto the roof of a moving train? Well, I am apparently, because
I followed Gara up. The wind was crazy, and I found myself toe to toe with a
very large Orge. It was not a pleasant experience. Luckily we agreed to
parlay, and she offered us the opportunity to join her, working as agents of
Daadk, or, at the very least, escort her to Wroat. Although learning
about the Daask was tempting, we could not forgive Gara’s actions. She refused
to turn herself in, choosing rather to fight to the death. Upon our return we
received thanks from a few people, including the watch, despite the reports of
Vilroy's disappearance. We don’t know when she was taken, or why, but I think
we need to find out. No doubt she’s missing because of us. Thornduk d'Kundarak
