Campaign Journal - Day #3 - June 25, 2020

After a brief respite as we travelled to Terminus Station, we immediately set to find Gara, whom we presumed was on the train. We were intercepted by  a Harpy who’s song was enchanting. Normally, I would enjoy listening to a lovely song, but this was not the time. Others however, were under her sway. I had instinctively thought to shove the harpy off the bridge, which we gave into without resistance. Somehow, I failed to notice that the Harpy had wings, and could simply start flying. I need to be more observant. Vellios fell off of the bridge, or jumped, I am not quite sure. Luckily , the feather token kicked in and saved him from a squishy end. He encountered further resistance as he was immediately attacked. We jumped down to ensure he survived, swiftly ending everyone who sought to kill us. The final thug jumped onto the train and in a panic, we jumped on to follow. We tracked him down in the back of the train, and confirmed that Gara was on the train. We found Gara, who immediately ran, to the roof surprisingly. Who would be dumb enough to climb onto the roof of a moving train? Well, I am apparently, because I followed Gara up. The wind was crazy, and I found myself toe to toe with a very large Orge. It was not a pleasant experience. Luckily we agreed to parlay, and she offered us the opportunity to join her, working as agents of Daadk, or, at the very least, escort her to Wroat. Although learning about the Daask was tempting, we could not forgive Gara’s actions. She refused to turn herself in, choosing rather to fight to the death. Upon our return we received thanks from a few people, including the watch, despite the reports of Vilroy's disappearance. We don’t know when she was taken, or why, but I think we need to find out. No doubt she’s missing because of us. Thornduk d'Kundarak
Kodiak's Journal #3, Aches on a Train or "Something about where choo choo goes" We got to the train station and ran down a lot of stairs.  There's so many people here.  We got to a bridge and saw a pretty bird lady.  She started singing and the next thing I remember is that we are on a train.  I think Vellios fell to his death, but must have survived somehow.  A train is this magical bunch of wagons attached to each other that goes really fast.  I liked the sky coach better because it flies like a bird.  i don't recall how we got there but we were going through it looking for Gara, We found her in first class, whatever that means.  She ran and jumped on the roof.  We all chased after her with our weapons ready.  Sonn convinced her to lay down her weapons and talk. I wanted to try my axe against her but I couldn't get in range.  She came down and offered us 100 gold each and a position with the Dask if we allow her to get to Rote.  We discussed it.  and the group decided to let her live if she turned herself in to the watch.  I'm glad she decided to fight but sad that she went down before I had a chance to earn any glory,  I need to find something that lets me move faster.  We returned to Sharn and got our final payment from the watch.  We also found out that Sgt. Vilroy is missing.  The Dask may have kidnapped her to replace her with the changeling.  We should try to rescue her if we can find out what happened to her.  Maybe the halflings know?  They seem to have their fingers in everything.
Pilgrimage report June 25 2020 We found Gara. She had booked passage on a train. But we got attacked by a harpy before we could get to her. That was not a pretty lady let me tell you. Anyway we killed her, took out some thugs and got on board the train. Eventually we found her and she started trying to convince us to join her criminal organization. I think you two would be proud of the group’s decision. We won’t surrender to evil. Gara refused to surrender and we had to kill her. When we got back we found out SGT Vilroy is missing. I think I will impolitely start asking the local criminals for information about her whereabouts.  I hope to see you guys again. I’ve been gone for two years but I still have work to do. I will develop my theories on Vilroys whereabouts in my next report.
