Long after the party had survived an encounter with an Ogre, slew a group of Hobgoblins (RIP Keep guard) and after dear Pun fell to the sword of a skeletal warrior.... The party found themselves going down a staircase... two stories below the earth where they stumbled upon an iron door...locked. Though the more warriors heaved against it.. it would not budge. Using a letter opener from STANDISH, SADE picked the lock to this prison cell, a cell that contained skeletal remains... and a maiden sobbing. STANDISH and LAEH were sympathetic so they approached the ...MEDUSA.. LAEH and her prisoner were TURNED TO STONE, as was BUTTERCUP! SADE (who was searching) blasted the creature with an arrow! STANDISH attacked-his sword useless against her scaled armor! MEDUSA countered with a headbutt of poisonous snakes BITING & KILLING STANDISH!
