cant select times new roman font on the text tool

sometimes when i change the font of text on roll20 games, it briefly changes to times new roman but then immediately changes to the selected font. i was wondering if it was possible to keep the font as times new roman or if there was some special way to keep it as times new roman when changing it. times new roman font is the best looking font for dnd 5e.

How are you changing the font? and where?

the only way i think might work, create the text in another program as Times New Roman. Copy it there, paste it into Roll20's handout. This maneuver has been retaining the font styles for me, lately, often not always, since the latest text-box updates in Roll20.

That is strange. AFAIK, Times New Roman should never be available there in the first place. Are you using an unsupported browser or third party extension?

Many browsers use Times New Roman as their out of the box default font, but it should never show up if the website is specifying a font, unless something is greatly slowing down or interfering with the rendering of the page. I would try in a private browsing browser session and/or Chrome and see if the behavior continues.
