LF 2 Pathfinder players - Saturdays @ 7pm EST

Been running a 4-player Pathfinder homebrew campaign for about 6 months that just lost a player. I want to bring the head count up to 5. You would be starting off as lv 10 characters in an established game that plays similar to Game of Thrones - lots of politics, your actions have repercussions. The characters are fairly well known adventurers now as level 10 and are connected with the upper echelon (kings, nobles, etc) and are mixed up in their various designs. It's a sandbox style game, where the group can decide to participate in a number of active story arcs. Strong emphasis on roleplaying - ie., when you talk, it's your character talking. We take time with the RP interactions with any NPC. Some sessions are heavy RP, and others are heavy combat in the event they have to take care of business. Player-wise, I know the fit is key. I'd prefer someone a bit older, although a very mature younger person is fine. I need bulletproof commitment for the weekly session, and a commitment to their character and adding value to the game. Character gen guidelines: Roll 4d6 drop lowest, arrange as desired. Lv. 10, two traits. 20,000 gold, only one lesser magic item (part of the setting, I will explain later). Max HP first level, roll for HP thereafter, rerolling anything less than half hit dice. Roll for race: 1-5 human. 6 elf, 7 dwarf, 8 half elf, 9 half orc, 10 roll on exotic race table. Classes allowed: any except summoner. All archetypes allowed. All paizo books (no 3rd party content). Send me a PM if you're interested including your skype details. Tell me your goals for pathfinder and what types of games you enjoy playing.
How old are we talking about?
30+ is a safe bet, but if you're younger, mature, and don't have ADHD I'll consider you.
My friend and I are looking for a game on Saturday, We're both 20+, pretty knowledgeable in Pathfinder.

Ok update. Party has decided to retire their current heroes as notable NPC's (temporarily), and will be rolling new 2nd level characters. They're deciding what to make, so nothing is "taken" yet. We realize the best type of players want to grow into their characters from their beginnings from an RP standpoint - the ones that join higher level games generally don't care - they're just there to try out a new build they're curious about. New guidelines: 15 point buy Two traits Level 2 Standard level 2 gold Roll for race: 1-5 human, 6 elf, 7 dwarf, 8 half-elf, 9 half-orc, 10 exotic (roll on table) Any class except summoner Any paizo books, no 3rd party, any archetype Golarion pantheon (even though it's a homebrew world) Game is E10 - ie. lv 10 is max level I have a custom "mana" system that's bolted on to the characters. Does not affect existing rules or magic, it's simply an add-on which helps you guys. A couple more things: - I generally don't like "pairs" coming to the game. In that case, sometimes one player works out, and one doesn't. The both end up going. - Don't come to this game with a narrow view of the "character you really want to play". The group doesn't care about your wants/needs, it cares about how you will add value to the group and if you fit in as a person. If you fulfil those two requirements, then we will work with you. - Attitude is everything. I'm totally new with new players, people can learn. On the other hand, I'm ok with veteran players who are humble enough to know they're not the GM and are "joining a group", rather than joining a game they can use as a platform for their next idea.

I'm the aforementioned friend by Ninja, and it has so happened that I have left games that he continued to play in. I could not consistently get along with several of the other plays, so I made the decision to leave to avoid a game that I wouldn't enjoy. As for the issue of "character you really want to play" I've changed classes several times BEFORE starting a campaign in order to best fit what the team needed (no front line? Monk. No healer? Oracle. etc.). While I would prefer to not have to do this again, I do understand that shit happens and will accordingly change how I play. EDIT: Spelling issues
Personally, I couldn't care less if you were to remove one of us from the game, unless some problem involving problems with other players were to arise, I highly doubt BOTH of us would end up leaving. And I'm quite fine with playing most any class.

RD/Ninja - I can talk to you guys, no harm in that. I've got a week to decide tho. Group seems to look like this so far: - Human Cleric of Desna (Divine Strategist Archetype) - Drow Life Oracle (Ancient Lorekeeper Archetype) - Human Inquisitor The new players are asked to balance out that group. Healing is well taken care of.

I have sent you my skype name if you wish to further converse.
Need 1 more player. Group could really use a solid front liner (full BAB class, ie. Fighter).
I have sent you a PM with my details.

Still looking for 1 more, plz PM me if interested stating what type of game you enjoy and how you'd characterize yourself as a player. Here is the background. What I'm looking for is a player who can make a character that will add value to the story. I have players that spend hours writing their backgrounds, and I also add their material to the game world. It's a sandbox experience. I want someone who is good at roleplaying their character, as well as combat. I usually get one or the other. Two hundred years ago, magic disappeared from the land, which resulted in general peace. One day, a magic chalice washed ashore. Rosamund Stormrook, the rightful heir to the kingdom of Wheldenbluff, happened to be in town for its discovery. She traveled with a party to unravel its mystery. It turned out to belong to the Snowdens, another fallen noble family. As they unraveled the mystery, it became clear that this chalice pointed to where the magic was sealed away and that Snowden was going to use the power for himself. Rosamund Stormrook rushed to get there first, joined by the barbarian Keva and then the southerner Al-Din, who was serving the Great Khan of the south lands. Each had their own reasons for beating Snowden there, but all agreed they needed to get their first. Unfortunately, they were too late. Snowden got their first and brought magic back. They killed him, but now dealt with the problem that the Great Kahn had taken everything he could and was drunk on magic. He was raising a great slave army and was preparing to make the world bow to him. They headed north to find the one scholar who knew anything about magic, the gnome Twinkletoes. Though doing this under the auspices of the Great Khan, Rosamund Stormrook and Keva switched allegiances and brought the gnome to King Ecbert of Sturmgard. This displeased al-Din, who was loyal to the Great Khan, and he was captured by Ecbert's forces and imprisoned. Slowly he learned that he had been brainwashed by the Great Khan and that the Great Khan was an imposter, so he rejoined Rosamund Stormrook and Keva to stop the Great Khan from invading. To prepare for the Great Khan's invasion, they have helped Ecbert deal with their war with Freeport and went north to the Dwarven citadel to seek assistance. While there, they managed to prevent an invasion from the Darrow Dwarves and get troops pledged for the coming war. And that is where the world now stands. Magic has returned, and everyone is scrambling to get a hold of it and control of it. People have come into possession of magic items, weapons, and powers and don't know it and don't know how to use. A pretender in the south, the Great Khan, is amassing a colossal slave army to conquer the world, and Ecbert's kingdom will be the frontline where that battle is fought. The great heroes, Rosamund Stormrook, Keva, and Al-Din are running around the country, gathering support for the war and proving their bravery. Kingdoms are in chaos as they fight each other and nobles struggle for their own power while the common folk are crushed under foot by forces they cannot control. War is coming, and it is now time for more heroes to enter the stage.
Well, color me interested. So about me: my name is Vicky and I'm 32 years old. I have been playing these kind of RPG's for over 20 years now. I am new to Pathfinder itself, though I am in another pathfinder game on Wednesdays and handle myself fine for what it's worth. I don't know all the technical nuances and can't name every spell, but I know my AC from my Reflex save. I know other systems.... TOO well, and I wanted to avoid that, hence why I've been learning pathfinder. I am a HEAVY role player. I don't mind me some combat, but I do role play. If anything, I feel I steal the spot light too much, and try to get other players to speak up if I notice someone is quiet. I've been on the DM and player side of things, and I feel getting everyone involved is important. I like stories, and if only person is speaking you lose out on some great characters. Thinking of story, I write huge back stories, and love when a minor character from a back story shows up. On a challenge, I took a friend's one paragraph back story for his tiefling Rogue and turned it into a ten page back story on the fly. That was a fun one, I admit. For commitment.... well, I can't really top Mia. I ran a MERP game three years ago now, and one of my players loved the story so much she asked if we could do some email RP to expand her ending. I agreed, and that story is still going lol. Story is important to me, and if she is still enjoying it three years later I'm happy to oblige. For characters, I have played many types. I have been the rogue, the wizard, the paladin, and a paladin who thought he was a bard (Amnesia was involved. it wasn't pretty). I'm told I'm best at arcane casters, which is why I've been doing melee characters lately lol. My current pathfinder character is a Rogue, and playing a full BAB character fighter/barbarian type sounds just what I'm looking for at the moment. From what is posted here of the story, I can see myself doing a fighter/melee type character who is TOO dismissive of this magic stuff, preferring the feel of cold steel. I rolled a d10 for race just now and rolled a 2 for Human (I do not mind rolling again with DM and/or witness to verify). Mechanics, I'm on EST time, so the timing works really well for me too. I will admit I am testing out a new sound set up as my last head set died this week. I may need to order a new one if this set up doesn't work, but I haven't had a chance to test it out in a game yet. It works in theory mind you, just... hasn't been play tested so a buyer beware, if you will. I think i'll stop there for now. I am an open book and will gladly answer any questions the DM and/or players have for me. Just send me a PM or post here. Thank you for reading, and I hope you like my application ;)
