Tokens not saving details

My google searching showed this was a problem back in April, but was supposedly fixed...suddenly, as of today, for some reason, GENERIC tokens, none of the setting changes I make save. Nameplates, vision/lights, which player controls the token. Nothing is saving. I make the change, and if i go to a different map or refresh, or exit the game, none of my changes save. Has anyone else had this recently? 

Does it seem like the "Save Changes" button doesn't work at all, or are changes seemingly saved, but then disappearing when changing map/existing game? Is this happening only in one specific campaign, or all of them? Does setting changes for none-generic tokens persist, when you update a character sheet's default token? When was the last time everything worked for you? Are you using either of the recommended browsers Firefox or Chrome?

I'll answer best i can, with more information to follow... I'm using Chrome (most recent mac version) The "Save Changes" button seems to work, but then they get blanked upon changing maps/exiting game This seems to be an issue with NEW generic tokens, Non-Generic tokens work fine, and generic tokens that were set up prior to last Wednesday as the generic tokens that were set previously, DO work. Last Wednesday was the last time i used the system in game play and everything seemed to be working fine. There are other generic tokens under player control already and that seemed to be working fine, so hopefully they'll continue to do so. If i set the tokens to a journal and make them a character, they work as expected As of right now its just in one campaign, but i haven't had a chance to check others. 

Are the tokens on other maps already there or are you dragging them out after you've made the changes to the token that you wanted and saved the token to the character sheet as the default? Also, can you explain what you mean by generic and non-generic tokens?

Patrick, thats my point, there IS no character sheet, thats what i mean, by a generic token, no character sheet, just a quick token on the map. 

As long as I've played, you can't give a player permission to use a token.  You save a token to a character sheet which a player has permission for.  There are no permission settings on tokens.  As to the token being saved.  It seems like you could do what you want to a token as far as light and vision, even give it a name and save that.  It should certainly save for the single token you just saved it for, but would have no effect on copies of that token on other pages.  The same is true of a token that gets saved to the character sheet.  Any other versions of that token in existence before changes are saved are not changed.  I just checked to see if I'd missed something, it even says on the token setting page (Controlled by is determined by character settings.)  Which means the character sheet it is connected to.

I see now that I was mistaken.  When looking at a token that is saved as a default for a character sheet it has the (Controlled by is determined by character settings).  When I drug a token onto the map from my desktop, I was able to change it's settings including who it is controlled by, vision, bar numbers and all the usual settings.  I saved it, changed pages and then came back and the settings remained.  I'm not sure why yours are clearing.  I'd submit it as a bug since it seems to be specific to you.

I am having the same issue. iit seems to save but a reload, view as player or change of map removes the changes. It only seems to be happing on one of my campaings. Itg doesn't seem to be affecting PC tokens. It was working about 2 weeks ago. I notesed it last friday evening and I am still having it today. I am using Chorme and it is up to date.
