Greetings, I am Anton, Ace, or MoonRover, which ever you prefer. I am a DM that has been putting some IRL friends of mine through, so far, 21 sessions of DnD. At this time 2 of my players had to drop out due to some life obligations and reaching out to the community for whoever is interested. I am a Roleplay heavy, story based DM. I encourage my players to roleplay and drive the story despite it being a module. We are a very relaxed and laid back group. We're all here to have fun and have a bit of enjoyment during these trying times. At first my players and myself met in person but due to the pandemic we have resumed our games on Roll20. For most of my players this is their first time playing a major campaign and we are all learning playing DnD together. Therefore, if you are someone who wants to get into DnD 5e in a newbie friendly style with rich and deep story-telling there's no better place. If you are just looking for a fun time on Tuesdays you are welcome too. Note: We use Discord for Voice chat and DnD Beyond for our character sheets. I have also begun using video to engage more with my players. If you are uncomfortable with video, it is not mandatory, I do it because i like the attention. What to expect from me as a DM: - A fun, light-hearted, non-intimidating setting to learn the greatest role-playing game of all time. - Immersive, deep and engaging story telling - Access to a library of resources on DnD Beyond - A full slew of music to help add mood and ambiance - a fully prepared serious DM with good focus and creativity along with a thousand hours of playing on roll20 - out of game consultation. if you have a question about the game outside of our playtime you can send me a message and I will do my best to answer or work with you at my earliest convince - consistent schedule, we will meet every week unless told otherwise - I will run the game at 3/5 player participation if less than 3/5 of the players show up i will cancel the game and meet the following week. - character voices (I'm no Matt Mercer but ill do some voices to help bring NPCs to life). I'm a big Critter and love those nerdy voice-actors. Player expectations: -First and foremost is to have fun. If at anytime you feel uncomfortable about anything please let me know what I can do to make your play experience better. -We may bend some rules either because it may sound cool or creative but rules are rules. However I despise rules lawyers. If a discussion arises where there is a rules conflict. As the DM I will make a ruling to not hang up the game and will be more than happy to open it up for discussion afterwards. -We are all buddies that know each other in real life and we are also hispanic (we sometimes blurt out spanishism but overall the game is run in English) with that said however, I WILL NOT TOLERATE RACISM, HOMOPHOBIA OR RELIGIOUS INTOLERANCE OF ANY KIND IN OUR GAMES. - In the event that you do need to miss a session please reach out to me in a message on discord. - At the time and date of this posting (July 8) we will be starting the adventure fresh this coming Tuesday (July 14) with whomever I have. All my players just completed a pre-adventure and are all level 6. You will be joining the game at level 6. This campaign is expected to be played to completion and may take upwards of one year to complete. By joining, you acknowledge that you will be free during the time posted each week, and that you make your best effort to attend each session and communicate absences to the DM. Character Creation: - You will start at level 6 - Any official material from wizards of the coast that are linked to my Campaign on DnDBeyond. Exceptions are Ravnica, Acquisitions Inc, Unearthed Arcana, Eberron and Wildmount. - No extra planar races or monsters (Gith, Bugbear, Kobold, Lizardfolk, Hobgoblin, Triton or Yuan-ti) All others not mentioned are ok. - All official feats are allowed - You will be equipped with your starting gear + starting class gold x100 + 2 magic items of your choice (Weapon, Armor, or Wondrous/Vanity Item) - No Homebrew races or classes/subclasses - Roleplay highly encouraged Communication: All in and out of game communication aside from dice rolls and RP chat will be held on a private discord server we will primarily be using voice for communication so a good headset is mandatory.
