So I had always wanted to play D&D type games my whole life, but could never find people to play with. Then last year I opened a gaming store, and finally got to start playing tabletop rpg's, and quickly became addicted. I played tons of games at my store, mainly D&D5e and Pathfinder. My store sadly had to permanently close due to the pandemic, and I've felt a mini hole in my life since then. I want to get into a group and play some, but honestly I'm a bit overwhelmed by the search function on the site, so wanted to post here and see if this got any eyes. I'd love to join a group and play some games, I'm a pretty good roleplayer (terrible at most voices lol), and I'll be honest I can be a bit of a powergamer at times, but I also love to see everyone have their moment to shine within the group, and as an aspiring writer I can be very creative with backstories for my character and stuff. I've also DM'ed a fair amount even tho I'm not very experienced, but I'm more interested in playing than DMing. My favorite class is usually druid cause I'm a hippie lol, and hmm other than that, I would mainly be free on the weekends to play, but have a very regular work schedule with my new job so won't have any problems committing to a campaign. Would love to be a part of a cool group.
