Hello there! I'm looking to play a character in a Pathfinder game themed around the open water and islands. I have a list of possible characters to play, and I'm dying to give them a good use and see how their builds play out. For those interested, here are brief run-downs of the three most interesting ones: Ace "Red-Eye" Saltbourne: Human Picaroon (Swashbuckler) / Buccaneer (Gunslinger) - The captain of a ship known as the Misty Mourning, Red-eye lost his left eye in a duel at sea and replaced it with an (admittedly fake) ruby. He uses a pistol and cutlass weapon set, and can be used as anything from a pirate to a adventurous ship captain. Atlise Shallowtide: Merfolk Shark Druid - A happy-go-lucky type, with a very playful attitude, Atlise is vicious in combat, given the nature of her animal companion and her unusual link with her inner shark. She often fights from the water, using a specialized bow and arrow and trident as her weapons of choice. Siivalt Scavorn: Sylph Sea Singer (Bard) / Pirate (Rogue) - Despite what his class might claim, Siivalt is not locked in place as a pirate; his skills lie in ability to avoid direct combat, aid his allies from a distance, and benefit the ship as a whole. It's possible he will eventually Prestige into an Arcane trickster.
