Noob Question re: using Roll20 for dice rolls and tabletop only

HI, all - I've been working on a Stars Without Number homebrew rules campaign. I've heavily modded the rules, and as I've never actually used Roll20, I don't know what I don't know. I have some questions: Using Roll20 without a character sheet Can I use Roll20 for the dice rolling only and let me do the bookkeeping myself?  Can I also use the tabletop just to track tokens in a personal combat or space battle? Building a fully custom character sheet for my homebrew system Is it possible to build a custom character sheet and integrate it with the dice rolls? Do I need to build a ruleset around my homebrew system to do this? Thanks in advance for your help. Trying to figure out how I can do these things. All best, Tom

The answer you your first 3 questions is yes. Building a custom sheet is a LOT of work though - but you can take the existing Stars Without Number sheet and tweak it for your needs which iwll likely be a lot less work. Your last question is a bit confusing: Do I need to build a ruleset around my homebrew system to do this? You are going to need to know what your custom rules are to be able to make your custom sheet. But that's obvious, so you must be asking something else.
