Spell Save DC's not displaying correctly

So, when I try and add a new spell to my spell list and have to manual add it in, when I register it needs a spell save DC, it doesn't properly show that i the chat log.

[i.e. My Cleric's Spell Save DC is 15, yet when clicking on a spell I had to add in like "Dawn", it displays the Save DC as 11  :(

did you change it to DC 15 and save it

I did, however I rather have it do it automatically like it did before, not changing every spell that needs a Spell save DC to 15 and when it's updated X_X

A few questions:

  1. Which game are you playing? (D&D 5e?)
  2. Which Character Sheet Template are you using? (D&D 5e by Roll20?)
  3. Is this for a PC or NPC? (PC?)
  4. What level is the cleric and what is the Wisdom modifier? (Level 9 - 12?)
  5. How are you rolling for the Dawn spell? (Clicking on it in the character sheet? Do you have a custom macro? Are you using Beyond20 to roll from DndBeyond?)
  6. Where are you seeing the Spell Save DC listed as 11? (A photo would be very helpful for this)
  7. What does the character's 'spell_save_dc' attribute list?

Assuming this is for a PC cleric using the D&D 5e by Roll20 template, the spell save DC will be automatically calculated as 8 + Proficiency Bonus + WIS modifier.  E.g. a 9th-12th level cleric has a ProfBonus of +4.  If the cleric has 16 WIS, then the WISMod will be +3.  So the cleric's Spell Save DC is 15.  To see what the game is calculating, you need to look on the Attributes & Abilities tab of the character sheet, and scroll down until you find the 'spell_save_dc' attribute.  Does it show 15 in the Current column box?

There does seem to be something screwy going on with that section of the Attacks & Spellcasting (assuming the R20 5e sheet). Try setting the DC to your spellcasting stat (WIS) and see what happens.

The spell DC field seems to be bugged - it keeps displaying SPELL even after other options are selected, and also changes the spell attack field.

1. The game is D&D 5e
2. It is the D&D 5.e Sheet by Roll 20
3. It is a PC
4. the Cleric is a level 8 with a Spell DC of 15
5. to cast the spell, I am clicking the spell from my spell list within the Character sheet, no custom script
6. See the picture posted, but when scrolling over the save needed, it just says (Rolling 11[Save] = 11)
7. I looked up the attribute and it does say "15"

You need to put in the spell that your spellcasting ability is SPELL.
