API Button inside roll Template

Hi guys. My friends and I are playing a homebrew system. I was trying to set up an attack macro with Template and an API button inside it (and I did!). Like this: But there is a problem i can't solve. When we click to roll the damage, the result is sent on a new chat line outside the template. Like this: So...How do I make this damage roll inside the template? Thank you very much!

You cant make it roll inside the same template - it's a new chat event so gets its own line. But you can wrap it in its own template. Give it its own &{template:default} {{name=}} layout.

And how do I do that?
