I have books for D&D 5e and Fantasy Flight's Star Wars RPG. I'm not a new player, I've played many RPGs: SW 2nd Ed, Pathfinder, Traveller, D&D 5e, Mutant Year Zero, The One Ring, Call of Cthulu and more. I am most comfortable with D&D 5e rules, but rusty or mostly forgotten the rules to a number of these games. I'm also happy to buy a digital copy of a new game if it seems interesting and the group vibes. I've GMed D&D, Pathfinder, and SWRPG before but I'm not ready to commit the energy to do it right now. I prefer more RP, mystery, sci-fi, horror, fantasy, dragon crawl, town building (kingmaker, etc) type games than deep number crunching and min/max for myself, but happy to play with people who care more about stats, just know that I don't invest as much in that part of games, so please don't expect me to! I like complementing my team's needs and creating space for my character to RP, so I typically choose my class or skill priorities based on filling space (ex. I'll pick a bard, cleric, or paladin if no one has healing yet). Characters I've played in the past: Deep cover ditzy/not ditzy govt agent in Traveller Boisterous self-aggrandizing gnome bard in Pathfinder Stalwart Paladin of light in DnD 5e Disney Pocahontas inspired druid with thylacine companion, Rory in Pathfinder Flirty genderqueer dwarf fighter with majestic beard in DnD 5e Politically Conservative FBI agent with a romantic relationship to another player character in Call of Cthulu
