Advanced 1e Character Sheet and Token Actions

Hi, I'm playing two separate 1e games now, and in both I am unable to get my macros to show as token actions.  But, I can have them show in the macro bar. Does this have something to do with the 1e character sheet?  Or, is there some setting that the GM needs to toggle to enable these token action bars to appear?  Setting up these token actions seems very easy on other character sheets, but it's not working for me for the 1e one. Thanks in advance for your insights!

I'm not sure the character sheet would matter.  You might want the GM to verify that the "Represents" field in the token settings for your character token is pointed at the correct character sheet.

Thanks Kraynic.  That was my thought too initially, but the token is linked to the character sheet.  So, I think there is something else amiss here.

Yes, but it can be the default token for a sheet and still have the token "represents" set to something else (or to nothing).  If your token actions are on the Attributes & Abilities tab of the sheet, they won't show up on the token unless it is set to represent that sheet in the token settings. Edit:  This token would still be the default token for the Dire Harpy if I set it to represent a cat.  But then any token actions shown would be ones from the cat.  This is the setting I am talking about.  It may not be your issue, but it certainly could be.
Kraynic, thanks for the detailed explanation. The color bars that can be set to represent hp and AC do work for the character sheet.  Would that be the case if the token represented something else?

In a quick test, changing the represents left it with the original bubble/bar values.  Changing the values on the token didn't change values on the sheet it originally represented or the new one. I guess I would say to be sure that when you change a linked value on your token that it is actually changing on the sheet.  If it doesn't, then the "represents" is wrong.  If it does, then that isn't the problem.  I'm just not aware of any way that your choice of character sheet can affect whether token actions display or not.
Kraynic, based on what you told me, I created a test 1e game using the character sheet to see if I could create token actions.  (This was something I should have done initially).  Anyway, I was able to create the token action, so the problem lies not in the character sheet, but in how the token is linked to it, as you indicated.  I am a player in the two 1e games where this is an issue so I will contact the DMs to see if it can be resolved.  Thanks!

You change it on the specific token settings, which looks like this: The Represents Character is the dropdown you need to change, and it might only be visible to the GM.
