Before the Frostskimmer could pull out, Dala Silmerhelve ran down the dock to present her journal to the adventurers, and ask them to deliver a sealed letter to McCath the Crimson if they were able to find her. She expressed frustration that the captain did not contact her prior to leaving, as she requested, and the captain dismissed her concern. As Dala left, a Dragonborn named Farideh came down the pier, with the Kenku twins behind her, carrying an unconscious Rhogar . She informed the adventurers that Rhogar had was careless with some poisons and knocked himself out. He could be out for hours or days - who knows? But their boss didn't want him to miss his boat. She had the twins put Rhogar on the boat and they all left. The Frostskimmer finally pulled out and started the tenday journey north to the Sea of Moving Ice . On the evening of the second day the ship ran into a patch of Ghost Fog and suffered a few crew casualties from ghostly specters of the drowned. Quick thinking by Titus when a second wave of specters began to appear prevented even more casualties. Captain Half-Face suggested pulling into Neverwinter to hire replacements. The night before the ship pulled into Neverwinter, Naivara convinced Titus' sister Livia to help subtly disguise and dress up Halle as a girl. The two pulled off their prank so well that Halle seemed to hardly notice! In Neverwinter, only the captain, Halle, and Naivara disembarked the Frostskimmer. Rhogar awakened by this point. Halle and Naivara engaged in some bar shenanigans while the Captain went elsewhere to hire replacement sailors. Afterwards, Halle and Naivara spotted wanted posters for Varis which indicated he was wanted for the murder of Thurewood Getor , a name that might be familiar to Naivara. They burned the posters and returned to the ship, which set sail again and continued north. By evening of the 7th day of their journey they finally reached the Sea of Moving Ice, a few days ahead of schedule due to favorable winds.
