[LFP] [DnD 5E] Looking for a group for an Elder Scrolls homebrew adventure

Good afternoon, I am looking to see who would be interested in a campaign based in the Elder Scrolls landscape and based on the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Tabletop RPG system for 5e. I have always loved the Elder Scrolls world building and cannot wait to produce some fun content based around the continent of Skyrim. I am still work shopping a few story hooks and ideas for main driving forces of exploration, but I want to try to wait and see what players join and what characters are made before a concrete campaign is made. There are a few different paths I'd love to explore, most with an angle of politics within Skyrim and the remnants of the Stormcloaks / Imperials. The over-arching story will however involve what comes next after the dragons have been eliminated. A little about me, I am a fairly new DM but have always had a passion for Roleplay and have become fully immersed in 5e thanks to Covid and Roll20. I am part of the Army so I do love some good ol' fashioned violence every now and then, but am in love with creative shenanigans to either make the combat a little easier or avoid it entirely. The part that has me excited about playing a campaign in Tamriel (Skyrim specifically) is the aspect that everyone (nearly) has been introduced and are beloved by everyone who has played Skyrim. This makes deaths of NPCs, introductions, alliances, enemies, everything has more weight behind it. If you want more information about the campaign, please message me on Discord: KnightLife #8811. For everyone that's interested, please fill out the quick boi application and we can start our adventure! And please, don't be intimidated by not knowing anything about the Elder Scrolls; I'm not hunting for lore masters, I'm here to make a great story with some amazing players! Just a one-shot and I've watched a few campaigns online.  Previous modules / campaigns played: Yet to play a proper campaign unfortunately. What do you like most in an adventure: Character and world development, plenty of laughs and somewhat challenging combat. What do you look for in a good party companion: Someone who's good at playing cooperatively and enjoys having fun. What do you look for in a good DM: Someone who allows for players to create tangents in the story but wont let it completely derail the overall narrative.

Hi I'm Ali and my timezone is flexible because I'm a freelance video game artist and I work from home. I'm 22 and as for the questions you asked. Experience with the Elder Scrolls lore: Skyrim geek, Oblivion enthusiast Experience with RP and DnD: Been playing D&D 5e for about a year with a couple of DMs so far. Actively Running a Resident Evil/ Raccoon City Escape Campaign for my friends. Previous modules / campaigns played: about 10 What do you like most in an adventure: Depends on the adventure, But I'd say role playing and meeting new characters and making a mark on the game world, Also Boss fights, Who doesn't love boss fights! What do you look for in a good party companion: Intense moments and good humor. I don't like conflict within the party. I have played a couple of games which in it the party turned on itself and we had to fight our comrades. What do you look for in a good DM: Good story telling, The rest is just rules and it falls to the place eventually.
What time / day are you planning for?  Name: Patrick Age: 54 Experience with the Elder Scrolls lore: I started elder scrolls with Oblivion and have been playing in Tamriel since then, including ESO. Experience with RP and DnD: I started playing D&D in 1983, I've played it in all of it's forms since then as well as other forms like Pathfinder, Rolemaster, Top Secret, Twilight 2000, Battletech and others I've forgotten the names of. Previous modules / campaigns played:   Modern Modules I'm familiar with are Phandelver, Princes of the Apocalypse and Curse of Strahd.  I avoid contact with printed campaigns in hopes of playing them one day. What do you like most in an adventure:   The best part of D&D to me is when the party is trying to figure something out, all of us putting our heads together to solve a puzzle.  I also love it when it's not yet my turn in combat but the stakes are high and it looks bleak and I'm pouring over my sheet for an forgotten ability or item that might help tip things in our favor. What do you look for in a good party companion:   I love when the players are more interested in having a good party that goes well together and don't show up saying how they have this awesome character idea that they've been wanting to run.  An awesome character is one that fits the group and works well with it. What do you look for in a good DM:   A great DM is one that knows his story, mostly knows the rules, keeps the pace, says yes yet isn't afraid to say no and doesn't railroad the party in the direction he wants to go, but rather lets the game evolve through gentle pushes, player choices and dice rolls.  A DM that doesn't set up the players tokens before the first session is almost a sure guarantee of a bad game.  When session 1 comes a month after this post and the first map you see is some lines drawn on a blank page, that DM doesn't care, how are the players supposed to?
Name: Ryan Age: 29 Experience with the Elder Scrolls lore: I have 100% completed Oblivion  with over 400 hours in a single file (Literally every dungeon on the map completed.)  Skyrim I'm slightly less familiar but overall i would say my knowledge in at least a 7/10 Experience with RP and DnD: I DM games on Sunday nights, have been a forever DM for about 3 years now. Previous modules / campaigns played: I have played in 2 homebrew campaigns before branching off and becoming DM myself.  I have ran 2 campaigns to completion and am working on my 3rd. What do you like most in an adventure: Challenging Combat and lots of plot twists with a characters backstory. What do you look for in a good party companion: Someone who likes to RP their character well. People who get interested in other peoples story and help build off it. What do you look for in a good DM:
Name: Damo Age: 25 Experience with the Elder Scrolls lore: Played oblivion and morrowind as a kid, barely remember it but i have played skyrim multiple times and still currently play ESO with the expansions. Experience with RP and DnD: Played a few times on Roll20 and I have watched a lot of HighRollers DnD Streams Previous modules / campaigns played: Lost mines and curse of strahd What do you like most in an adventure: I love getting involved with characters, discovering my character and others What do you look for in a good party companion: Easy going and looking for a laugh What do you look for in a good DM: Freedom, i like doing some weird crazy things that and I'd like a DM that would allow me to try some things out
