Hey folks-- I have no regular group of gamers anymore--haven't since college, some 20-odd years ago. I continue to lurk around and read stuff, and have played various games off an on with various groups over the years. Nothing has clicked. Recently, I've come across a lovely little game called "Dungeon World," and I am Intrigued. I would love to play this thing, but the few fellow gamers with whom I am in contact are either too busy Adulting or frankly don't see this game as something they'd care to try. (Which is perfectly all right: I pretty much had to sit out D&D 3.5, D&D 4, and Pathfinder -- not everything suits everybody!) So--about me: Adult White Male, pushing 50 years of age. Not much of a wargamer, tend to play for "story" and for laughter. Given the demands of "Real Life," including wife and disabled father-in-law, I have neither the time nor energy nor, honestly, the inclination to devour rulebooks and litigate rulings. But if anybody's got space in a game or would like to get one launched, I'd love to join up!
