DotMM map layer confusion

Just looking for a little bit of advice/insight into what's going on with the map layer of the marketplace module for Dungeon of the Mad Mage. I've looked through a few floors, and the map layer seems to be made up of a few separate images, which is fine, they'd be pretty big to manipulate otherwise. However, I've been moving things like secret door indicators for doors that my players have found to the map layer: and they end up behind the map images. No big deal, I'll just send the map image to the back so that the secret door icon shows up, and... If I move the rest of the individual map images To Back, it reveals a single gray scale image underneath the map pieces? This isn't a huge deal, I can just send the mega image that looks funny To Back and it's back to normal, with the secret door icon on top of the map: Can anyone explain what this big image under the map pieces is/what it may or may not be used for? I'm tempted to delete it so that it doesn't keep showing up when I change the z ordering on the map layer, but I don't want to break something that might be using it. I appreciate any responses, this is the first module I've purchased from the marketplace in case this is a standard thing and I'm just unaware.

The Page Preview is based on the largest image on the page.  If you select that image and hit Z, you will probably see that it's a lower resolution copy of the map that is scaled to be very large and thus be the page preview.  It might also have been handy for laying out the segments of the map at some point. Note, you can avoid that issue by doing the ToFront on the S on the GM layer, then moving it to the map layer. You can do that automatically with TokenMod: !token-mod --order f --set layer|map
You absolutely deserve your Forum Champion badge, sir. Thank you for the quick, thorough, and informative reply. I greatly appreciate it.
