Drawing Tool objects not rotating

When I create an object using the drawing tool, I am unable to rotate it. The arm used for rotation does appear but I am unable to drag it to rotate my object.

I have tested this on all different layers, using the multiple tools (Shape, Freehand, Polygon), and with the object having both a transparent interior and a solid interior. It doesn't work no matter what.

Is this intended, and if so, why does the rotation arm appear on drawn objects?

I think this bug was reported as happening on pages with Updated Dynamic Lighting (UDL).

Hi, I updated to the Updated Dynamic Lighting (UDL) myself on all the maps in my two games recently. Now I seem to have this same bug.

Objects (e.g. a text box or piece of art) get lollipop handle when selected. But, clicking handle only results in pinging the map. No amount of click-dragging, with or without modifier keys like Alt, result in any amount of rotation of the object.

Has anyone seen any solutions to this? It was a real pain to update all my pages and tokens to UDL, and I'd hate to have to move back to the old lighting system just to recover the ability to rotate art, especially since I know I'll have to move to UDL again soon when they deprecate the old system.

Woops, didn't look hard enough before commenting. As Rabulias notes above, this is a noted bug and they are working on it. For any others looking for the answer to this same issue, here's a workaround in the meantime. Holding the handle and click-dragging to rotate is broken under UDL. But, using keyboard shortcuts isn't.

Hold 'E' and scroll with your mousewheel to rotate the object. Hold 'Alt-E' instead to get fine-grained rotation.

Is there a keyboard shortcut for rotating if you DON'T have a mouse wheel?

I have to use a rollerball because of a wrist issue, unfortunately mine doesn't have a scroll wheel :(
