Map items and objects only viewable by specific players

It would be neat to be able to have items on the map that only some of my players could see, like an illusion, or a character with true sight or using detect magic/good/evil/etc..

I think you can already do it with a bit of trickery: 1) Make a copy of the map 2) Add objects to the map 3) Move only the player that can see the object in the copied map You need to check if there is an API that copies the token position between maps (so if a player move a token, the respective token is moved in all maps). I'm sure it is possible, I'm not sure if someone already did it
But only one map can be the active map the party sees. And all of them would need to be able to move through it independently.
