[5e by Roll20] NPC Action rolls are excluding descriptions if edited

Edited 1596631742
As the title says, I've noticed that when I edit the descriptions of an NPC's action (either from the Compendium or original) even at all, then clicking on their action's title, or using the %{selected|repeating_npcaction_$id_npc_action} call results in only the title of the action being displayed in chat, not the description. So for example if I use a young red dragon as an example, when I drag them from the compendium and click on their fire breath, I get this (I had changed their name in this example): But if I then edit the action to remove the full stop from the end (a tiny edit I only use as an example) I get this: This seems to be an issue with all my NPCs now, in that if I change their action descriptions for any reason, their descriptions subsequently do not appear when their rolls are called upon. This may also affect Traits, Reactions and Legendary actions as well, I don't know. Frankly I've been afraid to accidentally disable swathes of my NPC library. EDIT: I created an NPC to check, and it seems this issue is only affecting my NPCs Actions, not their other repeating abilities. NOTE: I deleted said young red dragon from my journal and dragged a fresh one from the compendium, and off the bat their Fire Breath ability wouldn't display the description. Nor would their multiattack. Any help would be massively appreciated! T
Looks like this is what happened with mine. Here's a thread with a bit of an explanation: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/9038037/npc-actions-other-than-attacks-will-not-show-in-chat And I've posted the following to my Discord group to give them a few options for workarounds: **ROLL 20 5e OGL SHEET ISSUE** SO - it looks like there's been an update to the 5e OGL sheet (which all of our games use) that is having an issue at the moment. When an NPC uses an action, it will not output the description field to the chat correctly if you have "Auto Roll Damage and Crit" selected on that creature. This would be attacks that have descriptions (like informing you they must make a STR save or be knocked prone) and non-attacks (such as Frightful Presence or Web). This is happening because they've switched templates from "npcaction", which was being used, to "npcfullatk." I was the first to report this happening last night but others are chiming in that they're having the same issue. Since the 5e OGL sheet must be the most popular one on the site, I'm sure this bug will be cleared up soon. In the meantime, a workaround would be turning off Auto Damage and Crit. You can still click on the name of the attack in chat if it hits, and it will roll damage as normal. Doing this does cause the description field to show in chat as usual. Another workaround if you have this issue with token actions is to copy older token actions for NPCs, which will have the npcaction template. This template still works fine, and is actually chosen if you have the auto show damage and crit option turned off. I hope this helps a bit. I know it can be frustrating!
Thank you Jean! Good to know it wasn't just my accidentally breaking something. I'll turn off auto damage for now and cross my fingers for a fix! T x
I am having the same problem. Every time the developers change the OGL sheet they cause more bugs.

Except when they don't. :) This has been reported in the sheet thread (where the appropriate dev has seen and responded). Miguel is usually pretty quick with fixes.
Same issue - super frustrating, especially figuring this out just hours before a game. A fix that allows one to set up an NPC action that rolls only damage without an attack roll (as you could do before) would be GREATLY appreciated.
