To link handouts to chat or macros, where do you find the url?

I know this topic has been discussed previously but I didn't see how to get the handout url. I have an existing example that works, but I can't replicate the code for another handout, where do you get the url?? ***[Random Encounters table](http://journal.roll20.net/handout/ - LxmLZs3zvchmlyT1UeR )*** Where do you find this?

Easiest is to create a link in a handout and then right click and copy it. You can also go to the external journal and get the identifier off the end of the URL there.

Someone else may have a different way to do this, but I do that by first creating a link in the text of a handout or the Bio & Info tab of a character sheet. So, if you have a handout called "Test", you would type [Test] into another handout to generate a link. Now that you have the link, right click on that to get an url you can put in your macro to send to chat.

If easiest doesn't require typing for you then you can go to the external journal for your game and right click>copy link address from there.
I think this may not be working because it is a purchased module, I cannot find an external journal. Creating a link takes me to a page not found. Am I doing it wrong?

Links in handouts/bio are created by surrounding the name with [ ]: The party rested at [Darklake] for the evening. Now that I think about it, the external journal might be a Subscriber Perk.
