Charactermancer sheet problem

I have a player who's trying to create a sheet using charactermancer, when he gets to choose "Ability score method" the only thing he sees at the drop down menu is "choose, and custom" . Has anyone run into anything like this?

sounds like he doesn't own the PHB and only uses the free version. Pretty sure the SRD only version doesn't contain methods for stat generation.

Yeah, everyone was pretty surprised by that, but rolling dice for your ability scores is not actually in the SRD.
