Replace Image

Is there a way to propagate image replacements to all instances of that image in the current game? For example, I have created a map image which I have placed in the Map & Backgrounds layer. I have gone to the trouble to adjust the size so that it matches the grid. I have also laid out objects on top of that map file on the Tokens & Objects layer. Now I decided that I would like to update that map file. For example, I might have forgotten to remove secret door from the initial map file or I colorized the gray scale map or whatever. As far as I can tell, currently you need to upload the new file using a different name (Roll20 supports using the same name but then it deletes both when you try to delete the old file), remove all instances of the old file on the screens, add the new one, reposition and resize the new one. It would be really nice if there was just a replace feature (if there is one, please let me know) which would just update the existing images with the new image without having to delete the old files and readd the new files.

API Scripter
You can get some of this functionality with an API script, specifically the swapping out an image part.  TokenMod can change the image of a graphic from whatever it is to any User Uploaded image.  An API Script that replaced all instances of a given image with a new one would be possible, though the interface would be a little tedious.
Thanks. I will look into TokenMod. I don't have a high enough subscription to use API.
