Introduction Thread

I'm not 100% sure I'll be able to join on Saturday. We're at the campground and can only get cell coverage intermittently. But I know there's a place near the beach that isn't bad. Ill try that.

No more shall the heirs of Durgeddin  On the throne of Khundrakar sit. The Glitterhame, dark as the Black-Mere The forges n’er again lit.  (For Fraener fears the Mistwood His doom awaits him there) But for friendship and  fair Jyrdani, Terrible foes he will dare Until death’s cold hand is upon him And Fraener no longer cares.
Hey everyone, finally back to civilization. At the campground I could get the chat log, but the VTT was just blank, so I could sort of follow along. Until my laptop battery died. A major windstorm blew through the region, knocking out the power. When I got home I read the chat log. Glad to see everyone still alive. Tim, I'm sorry to see you leave, but I hope it's in the dice (real dice, not the cursed Roll20 dice) that you can return. If not, stay safe my friend, and I hope to game with you again in the future. As for everyone else, I hope we can continue RPing on the game forum while the game is on hiatus. Norrin will definitely make a return. After all, he has a barony to carve out of the wilderness for himself.

Thanks Simon for once again running an amazing game and I hope we can all get together again once you’ve enjoyed a well earned rest!
What Chris said, Tee Hee!  Dear all have a great summer!  I hope to fire up R20 to adventure with you guys again.
Update Hi all,  Looking at hopefully restarting in a few weeks. I've decided to increase the starting level to level 3 (900 XP). The new 1st & 2nd level PCs add 900 to their current XP, so eg Queale 350+900 > 1250 XP.
Hi Simon, that’s great! If Fraener needs to do some crafting that will make life much easier. I’ll have to dust Quag Wenders off :)  Simon N. said: Update Hi all,  Looking at hopefully restarting in a few weeks. I've decided to increase the starting level to level 3 (900 XP). Nice better than starting from level 1 and more survivability
Looking to start playing again! They just hired another person in our office so my on-call weekends won't be as often.
Hi guys, I'm looking to resume running fortnightly from next Saturday 5pm (so 10/7 then 24/7) - does that suit you all? Prob do a bit of a time jump to even up the groups.
I'm good for 10/7, but I have to work on 24/7. The next time is 28/8. The maddening thing of that is when I'm at work, I'm sitting at a web-connected PC....
Looking good for 10/7 so far 🙂
im good for 10th july 2021
Yep, works for me
10/7 & 24/7 Booked.

Just wanted to let you know that I have found a local in-person game on Saturdays so I will not be re-joining the campaign.  What an incredible experience playing with you all online since last year! Thank You for bearing with Syrus' bad jokes and his throwing of glitter confetti. I will be putting a post up in the other threads with regards to Syrus' departure I wish you all the Bestest of Luck in your forthcoming adventures :) Best, Kenny

Session XP is 621 each.
@Geoff I think you still need to give Norrin his +2 Attribute increase for level 6.
Simon N. said: @Geoff I think you still need to give Norrin his +2 Attribute increase for level 6. Thanks Simon, I was going to ask you about that. I'm still a 5e newbie here. I've added one to each of his CHA and DEX.
Just a quick note to everyone wishing them good luck in the game tomorrow. I have to work unfortunately, but when I get a moment I'll read the chat log for the session. The good news is they hired another person in our office, so my work weekends won't be quite as often. Game on!

Training cost is 20gp for Queale (3>4), 40gp for the other PCs (4>5 and 5>6).

I mean, he would do it out of the goodness of his heart; any advantage that would give the party is always welcome. Just curious, that's all.

Great fun, really enjoyed the game last night.  That was my first encounter with a Flayer, terrifying.

XD She's currently at D'Ashe Manor.
Hi guys will be starting at 3pm on 21st, hope that suits everyone.

I'll be away for mum's memorial in Scotland 28/8 and 4/9, so after tomorrow next game 11/9.  Then I think 25/9 and continuing fortnightly thereafter.

Rumours M12 1359 DR 1. Orc raiders from Glen Orcy have attacked Helix's  Brazen Strumpet , but were defeated by the heroic defenders, led by  Manu  the Stable Boy. Manu & his companions next day ventured onto the Barrowmoor in  Hendon  the Miller's boat, but did not return. 2. Disaster at Spurs' Edge!  Worm-Things  from Feycircle Tor have destroyed the village, and devoured or carried off her defenders, including Thane  Rufus  & Mage  Burne  of Hommlet, and the Snow Elf warrior princess  Nevamira . Survivors have fled north to Hommlet and Valls. A band of heroes from Carmarthan, led by handsome  Gorlock  the Warlock and his trusty sidekick  Greeba , have answered the call to save the land from the Worms of Qorgeth. 3. Malthlyn village remains hard pressed by aberrant monsters descending from the Moonfog Hills, but at least the burning of a strange repellent concoction seems to be deterring the Carrion Moths and their Carrion Crawler brood. Brave  Sir Norrin  of D'Ashe Manor leads the defence, aided by a band of heroes including the elven prince  Strohm , the wizard  Malied , and  Fraener  the dwarven forge-priest.
