Round Tokens

Hi, so this may be a very newb questions so please bear with me, but how do I make the background go away in the corners of round tokens and hex shaped things? I've put an image below, including one of the free tokens that does what I'm looking for. I just want to know how to make my maps and tokens do the same kind of thing. (Though clearly not as polished as the others since I'm not that good at it, just so I can get them to work.)

You would generally need to make sure the image is a png, and has those parts outside of the round or hex set as transparent. You can do this in an image editor like photoshop (or Gimp which is free), or use a tool to make the token like this one <a href="https://rolladvantage.com/tokenstamp/" rel="nofollow">https://rolladvantage.com/tokenstamp/</a>

i will say, since the most recent update of rolladvantage.com/tokenstamp/ its been very buggy and actually crashed my computer once, i am running on a fairly average laptop. so beware
