Display Nameplate error

I think there's something going on with game token universal settings to have nameplate displayed and then new tokens actually having nameplates displayed: This is the game settings: See Show Nameplate is checked in lower right Then save defaults & changes: Go into the game, drag a new token out, open up its settings to edit and the Show Nameplate is NOT checked There seems to be a disconnect between the global game settings and that flag on new tokens in the game.

Two things to check: 1. Did you Apply New Settings in-game on the settings tab? (Down at the bottom. There's a very thin progress bar that's easy to miss, since this can take some time in a large game) 2. Are you running a script like Health Color Auras, which can override that behavior on the default configuration?

I found the default settings are applied only if you click on the name to drag the new token to the map, instead of on the icon next to the name.

Not running any scripts on this game.

I repeated the error dragging the image of the art. When I dragged using the name, nameplate settings worked as expected. Was able to repeat fail or success at will with any bit of art in my library. You are correct on the issue I was having. Thanks!  MODS, I think this issue is closed.
