I am currently running the Avernus campaign for D&D 5e. I have 4 players. 2 of the players have tokens with night vision, 2 without. All settings are the same for all 4 tokens, save for darkvision. I am using the following Page Settings: Fog of War, unchecked. Advanced FoW Enabled. Dim light reveals, checked. Dynamic Lighting Enabled. Enforce Line of Sight checked. Only update on Drop checked. The tokens have the following settings Nightvision chars: Emits Light 60ft. Start of Dim -5ft. Angle 360. All Players See light Unchecked. Has Sight checked. Angle 360. Multiplier 1. Advanced Fog of War blank. No Nightvison Chars: Emits Light blank. Start of Dim blank. Angle 360. All Players See light Unchecked. Has Sight checked. Angle 360. Multiplier 1. Advanced Fog of War blank. Now the issue. 3 of the 4 characters, AFoW works as intended. They move through an area with light or using darkvision, as they move along, the area behind them slowly greys out but they see a dim version of the area they went through as expected. The problem, character #4, no nightvison, walks through the same areas, using the same light source as the other character with no nightvision. Once they move past an area, the area becomes black once more instead of dim grey. The only method that I can get for them to be able to see previously traveled areas is to use the manual reveal tool. This makes no sense to me and I have been searching for a way to fix it. I have reviewed the settings repeatedly. I have even tried making a new token and associating that new token with a copy of the character sheet. Same result. Searches on the web only seem to reveal fixes if all characters are experiencing this issue. I have only 1 player of 4 that it happens to. I really hope someone can figure out the issue. Our next session is a week from this Thursday and I would like to have it resolved for them. Thanks for any help.
