Hi all, I'm currently running a homebrew campaign that's been going successfully for 10 sessions. Due to life circumstances I'm going to need to fill some player spots soon. About the game: The setting is a homebrew high fantasy. Currently in a small but troubled town of Gracefall. Our heroes have settled into the quiet town after running away from their own personal circumstances. They befriended and helped out the friendly local folks before deciding they needed to oust the towns questionable leadership. After failed coup against the Mayor, the party has recently discovered the towns leader is far from what they seemed and are racing to stop their sinsiter plot. There's a heavy roleplay focus, about 70-30 split between combat. The PCs have taken a very active role in driving their own stories forward and inter-party dynamics. Each PC has had at least a few elements of their backstory explored as a group and done some personal quests. If you enjoy a chance to really dig into your character's personality and background within the world you'll get plenty of spotlight time. The party is level 4 and the story is at a point where it should be easy to weave in new party members. There is a possibility of starting over fresh depending on how many players are left. What I'm looking for: At this stage I'm looking at how much interest there is due to the timezone differences and a specific day requirement. Players who are happy with a decent commitment: Weekly games at the specific time and a mid-length campaign of several months. Players who enjoy role-playing and social interactions over heavy combat grinds. While there's plenty trouble and dangers in the world I prefer set piece encounters and battles over stabbing random encounter Orc number 5. There will be plenty of places to throw a fireball or two, but what keeps me interested in running the game is great PCs and their stories that grow out of it. New players are welcome, I'm happy to teach the rules as long as you're happy to learn. If you're very trigger shy about playing in character however, this might not be a game for you. Please PM me if this sparks your interest and can make the timezone.
