"Subscription Sets"

Speaking as someone who is hesitant to fork over a buck when I have no idea what I'm getting, I notice that not only is the term "Subscription Sets" murky as hell, but there is almost no actual documentation anywhere as to what a "Subscription Set" asset even is. Does it come free with a Pro subscription? Is it something you can only buy if you have a Pro subscription, but it still costs more money? Is it a separate subscription that you pay to an asset provider which gives you access to all their new stuff when it comes out? I did some googling around but google doesn't seem to know much about roll20 "subscription sets" either. And the only thing that I found on roll20.net as a link in the documentation took me to a list of art assets that were marked "roll20 exclusive", but priced individually. Does that mean that a pro subscription gives me access to all assets that are roll20 exclusives? I have to say, I've used roll20 for quite some time but their inability to just hire someone to do their documentation (let alone UI design!) really bugs me.
(Ideally there is some way for me to see what assets come with a Pro subscription, since I really don't care much about anything else that does.)
a set of assets come with your pro subscription, primarily, if not all, tokens. but if the assets is what is deciding factor for you i wouldn't bother.

The assets are useful, but not spectacular. The main reason to buy Pro is for the API, and maybe the increased storage. And all the Plus stuff, of course.
So there are no map tile sets or anything like that?

Not to speak of. There are many token packs, but of varying styles and genres, so they don't really add up to one big token pack, and some nice spell templates. If you are looking to upgrade to Pro for map tiles, you'd be better off spending the money on a couple of packs of tiles from the marketplace.
yeah i see token packs as an added bonus and definitely not the main draw for Pro.  The main draw as keithcuris mentioned are the API access/sheet customization/dev server access.
