LFG for late night PST (11pm - 2/3am) 3.5 D&D, Pathfinder, nWoD

As discussion title, would like to join a game that runs late night for pst Mon-Fri. I can DM 3.5 or nWoD if no one volunteers for DMing, but I would prefer to play. I can also do during the day for PST from Mon-Fri, but availability of that might change over time.

I'd be interested in playing a PF game, M,W,F, or Sat. ~Krys~

Ok, that sounds good. I don't know pathfinder as well as 3.5 or WoD, but from what I understand it is like 3.5 except a bit better and easier.

Oh, as for availability, I should be available any day if its past 11pm PST, but I can't play too frequently (I'd be up until 5am, since I'm in EST).

Alright, looks like we have our people. If anyone is free tonight, I will make a test game at 11 or 12 and post the link in here. I will be playing around with Roll20 and reading the core book for pathfinder. We can discuss times that are best for people and hopefully get started in the next few days.

I'm also free for the test run. However, I do have something I might want to bring to your attention: Unfortunately, my communication will be limited to text-based chat, since my webcam is dysfunctional and my microphone is terrible. Will this be too much of a problem?

Suggestion on the video/chat - I use Skype, running in the background. Seems to work better. I connect everyone on a group call.

The built in video chat doesn't work well? Huh... ok. Does anyone have problems with using Skype?

Yeah, for both. You can join the group call on Skype and listen while using the Roll20 text chat to communicate. Skype also has text chat, but if we are playing around with the Roll20 stuff we might as well use that.

@Kendall: Our playtime is scheduled tonight (I'm not certain of the time, but the GM should state it sometime later today). Diablo is lots of fun, so I can't blame you, but be on the lookout!

Agreed. Diablo is almost worth missing out on setting up a game, but not quite. We are meeting around 11 pm to finish up characters, work on backstory and play around with the Roll20 system some more. I am completely new to pathfinder, but because it is so like 3.5 I understand most of it. It also looks like Krysty is very knowledgeable about Pathfinder, so we should be able to answer any questions.

Sure, what ever you would like. So far we have a gunslinger, a rogue and a oracle (divine caster). Sorcerer would work, as well as fighter or something else meaty

Ah we need a defender. What classes in Pathfinder are considered tanks?

I'm planning on multi-classing into monk to help us out on the fighting end. There's only one catch - my character doesn't believe in killing anyone. =) Should be interesting to see how that plays out.

Are we using the same site?

Pallys and barbarians are good tanks, of course a good defensive fighter. Crusaders are good too.

I don't have the site bookmarked anywhere, so it might be a good idea to tell me when you guys are starting (with the link).

so i created my character, but had some trouble figuring out the feats. not sure how to assign them or how many i should get (if any at all on level 1).

I'm a Pathfinder veteren, playing since Beta, got just about all the books a player would ever use. But sadly I can't DM. However if you need a player please let me know.
