Drago/Drop Spells into Character Sheet Not Working

So I'll state we're on free accounts, no one has Pro so we aren't able to copy character sheets. I've reached a level in Pathfinder 1E where I can cast 2nd level cleric spells. As a cleric/warpriest, I prepare spells each day meaning I still do "know" all clerical spells. I've attempted to begin drag/dropping spells from the Compendium into my character sheet but it is not working. Previously I got all of the level 1 cleric spells added through drag/drop just fine. Level 2 is not working. We're not able to copy the character sheet, I cleared the cache and closed/re-opened the browser, we've tried every option previously mentioned on this board. Is there anything that can be done? Or is the character sheet 'string' permanently 'corrupted' unless we get Pro?

Just checking, since you didn't mention: the character sheet is not popped out into its own window, correct?

I don't play PF, but from messing around with the sheet it looks like adding spells fails if you don't have a required class for that spell, correctly spelled (the other spelling) in the Configuration tab. For example, if you have 5 levels in Clerric, and try to add Cleric spells the sheet will go blank. If you have 5 levels in Cleric, and try to add a Ranger / Druid spell the sheet will go blank. If you have 1 level in Wizard (spelled correctly), you can add any Wizard spell you like, including ones you don't have slots for. When you add slots you'll find the spells already entered (adding Wish to a level 1 Wizard, for example). It seems to do a simple string match between any class which has Spellcaster ticked in the Configuration tab, and the classes listed on the spell, and the sheet dies if the match fails. Does this help at all?
I'm currently having this issue as well with PF1 character sheets. I have tried clearing cache, copying character sheets, updating Chrome, etc. etc. In console, I'm seeing "Drop handled, returning..." but nothing actually happens.
Also having this issue so are my players, drag and drop on Chrome or Firefox results in sheet going blank and saying 'Charactermancer'
Me too - same issue!
I have this issue too. The main problem is: For Pathfinder 1e there are only the core classes available in the Charactermancer (no compendium add-ons purchasable), meaning all other classes have to be build manually. No problem so far, but this means that those classes (which would be considered "custom" by Roll20) can't drag/drop spells that are on their spell list AT ALL, because the system doesn't know that they even have a spell list. Example: A summoner isn't known to the charctermancer/compendium, so he can't even drag/drop "Read Magic" onto his spell sheet, which is on the spell-list of almost every spell-casting class.

Before you could Drag and it would ask what level you wanted the spell if it didn't see your class though. This is a recent issue :/ Edit : Submitted a ticket, I'll let you all know if I learn something
Same issue has happened to me.

Hopefully they get to it soon.

Hello, i found a solution. When you what to add cleric spells you must have cleric levels on your charakter sheets. Same with other spells/classes. The charakter sheet only know Playerhandbook classes. For my Oracle it works. I wish you good luck.

So this might be the issue - I'm playing a Warpriest - but it added all of my orisons and level 1 cleric spells just fine. It seems that if the class needed to be a PHB base one that it would not have added those level 0s, let alone the level 1s. Why would it change with level 2 spells?
Hello, i don't know why it change with level 2. I only have the idea that you must raise you casterlevel (Base class) that you can prepare the spell. And in the spellcaster table you must add level 2 "spells known" and "spells prepared". you must enter a number greater 1.
Just wanted to +1 this issue, as it is impacting my level 8 Oracle in a Pathfinder 1e game. Everything worked until recently, when I tried to add some 4th level spells to my character sheet after leveling. I drag in the spell from the compendium, and either: Nothing happens The character sheet tab changes to the "Charactermancer", which is a blank screen After many tries, my character sheet is now permanently stuck on the charactermancer, rendering it completely useless. I created a new, blank character and I am trying to recreate things, but I still cannot drag in any spells. Incidentally, I tried the trick of adding character levels/spells for a PHB base character (Cleric, Bard, Wizard), but this did not help. Still can't add spells. Hey, Roll20 admins, FIX THIS!! Whatever change you made recently has broken things!!
I and others have mentioned this in a different topic and we got a reply saying they will get to fixing this(this was a day or so ago and Idk how long it may take) but I think they are atleast aware now.
They haven't gotten to my ticket yet however: JD said: I and others have mentioned this in a different topic and we got a reply saying they will get to fixing this(this was a day or so ago and Idk how long it may take) but I think they are atleast aware now. Thank goodness this has been impacting my play SO BAD. Hey folks! Just an FYI - our dev team is now aware of the issue and is working on a fix . Thanks for the reports!
We are having a similar issue. It appears with any new character as well as any character we had which was logged in last night during an event. We have tested it in: Chrome Firefox IE Drag and drop is still working on characters who were not logged in last night, but not on any new character, not when a character is duplicated, nor when a character is moved between games or archived and then reactivated. I cleared cache, logged in and logged out, and attempted trying as a DM, rejoining as player, then rejoining as DM again (anything to reestablish a connection really) For our group this appears to only be effecting those who had their sheets open last night OR who are trying to make a new character.
