Can players access my Roll20 rulebooks in my game?

As a DM, could my players access the 5e player rulebook in my game if only I purchased it? Sorry if this question has been asked, but I searched for the answer and couldn't find it anywhere. I just want to know before I purchase anything for my players that I specifically don't need.

yes, if you turn on Compendium Sharing . Sorry if this question has been asked, but I searched for the answer and couldn't find it anywhere Where did you search, and what keywords did you use for searching for this? If you searched the wiki and didn't find it, I'd love to know, as I could then make it more easy to find in the future.
Thank you!! I just used google, but didn’t get anything back. I didn’t know there was a wiki and went to these forums. I don’t remember the keywords I used, but the information was probably there and I couldn’t find it. I’m sorry I can’t be of more help!
You can share your compendiums with the players.  It's in game settings.  Players will be able to access the compendium within the game if you configured it to share, otherwise they won't be able to. (Note that there's limited number of players you can share compendiums with simultaneously, at any given time, depending on your subscription level).

In Roll20's toolbar for the site, under the "Community" tab both the Help Center and the Community Wiki are listed. I'm surprised that googling for Roll20 Compendium didn't lead you to either page.
