Hi all, I'm a bit new to this macro thing, and experiencing a very frustrating, but also likely a very noob issue. I have created a token action macro for entering initiative for a player-controlled token connected to their character, as well as another for entering damage from a player to a targeted enemy. Both of these macros work great for me as a GM, but not for the player. Here's how they're behaving: I click the token, buttons appear in the top left for the initiative and damage macros, I click one, and a box pops up to enter initiative or choose a target for damage. However, when player does this on their end, all that happens is the name of the macro appears in the chat (i.e. "#Enter-Initiative") and they don't get a popup box to enter anything. I'm inclined to think the text of the macro itself is working just fine since it works for me (and also works for me if I select "Re-join as player" in settings). Why won't it work for my players? Any ideas? What's absolutely killing me is that my fiance also GMs, and I'm a player in his campaign. I've literally copied his exact macros and process. They work great in his game - the issue is isolated to mine. Is there something in my game settings causing this?
