New comer

Hi All, I am a complete and utter beginner, I have read some basic instructions on how to play but still very unsure on what to do. Is there ever any groups/games of complete novices that are willing to show the ropes? Thanks
If you're a complete novice, I strongly suggest that you first try to determine what kind of system you want to play (the most popular on here is D&D 5th edition) and then try to get into a group that's just starting out as the lowest level of experience (level 1, for D&D). Most experienced DMs and players should be capable of giving you guidance on what to do, but you also need to make your own decisions when playing (e.g. I'm moving there and hitting that goblin with my mace). Also, as this is an international community, giving some information as to what time zone and availability you have can be helpful in finding a session!
Hi RedMistSlicer, We have a group of 4 newcomers also if you are keen to group up? We would be more then happy to we have a beginner DM, but would consider hiring a Vet for a campain or two by the look they run aa a reasonable rate. We play every sunday at GMT+8 for 4 hours let me know
Hi all, Thank you for your replies.  Yes I am 100% new, never played it at all - so in terms of which edition I wouldn't know, so take any advice really. I am from England so yes I am GMT Thanks

Hey, I am from England so work on GMT - I am free most evenings usually. I can always plan round things.
