Macro linked in a handout

I was trying to setup a handout that includes some links to macros. From what I found, it seems that this is possible by adding a link to !
#Macro-name. So I tried this with a macro in my game GM-d20. The full link is: !
#GM-d20. However, when I click the link, nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? Is this function bugged? Is there something else going on? Thanks for your help!

That might have been an old tip. Try this--much simpler. In the link for the button, put a backtic (upper left on most keyboards) followed by the macro name: `#Macro-name

Super cool!  I've been wondering if I could make a working scroll handout for those times when my players find a scroll.  Now the answer is yes!  Next step is to have players who can cast spells... ;)
